Aye, too many new characters we're learning about! I mean, not that they're really new...they were always there, right? But why didn't we know them from the start? >_>;; Oh well. More lost <3

Anyway...Boone's returning AGAIN? YAY! I love Boone :3 <3

But why didn't we know them from the start? >_>;;

Because "we were there all along!" is actually a perfectly good alibi in this situation considering how little they let us know about everyone else on the crash. You had to know they'd introduce characters this way.

The problem is that the way they chose to introduce them wasn't at all dynamic, so it leaves me fundamentally disinterested in them. They didn't really do anything, we didn't learn anything about them, and there wasn't any GOOD reason for them to be introduced, they just sort of got dragged along just because.

For that reason, I find them annoying and unnecessary at this point in time. Maybe this episode will change my mind.

Yeah, so far their contribution seems to be lots of whining and complaining, and also a demonstration of the bathroom in Pearl Station. Not exactly ingratiating.

I haven't written them off yet, since Paolo was in my favorite movie evarrrr, but if they still end up being lame I will be unhappy with their presence. :<

Spiders. Creepy. Also, the buried alive thing? Wow.

even thought it was about two of my most hated characters i have to say i think this was my favorite episode of the whole season.

it finally felt like Lost again.
everyones been saying this season's weak and the show's missing something.
That something is what we had tonight, that feeling that the writers are smarter then me and have been playing us the whole time. blaugh

so many little questions from way back were answered plus we got to see Boone, Shannon and Art again. heart

Now i'm going to go look at the old episodes and see if they're really there. surprised

Pretty good episode, with a nice twist. I kinda figured they weren't dead yet, but I thought they were just faking. Or at least, Nikki was.

But.

Nikki and Paulo were officially the most useless characters ever. They did nothing, had no purpose in the plot. The best thing we can say about their deaths was that they got Charlie to reveal his part in Sun's kidnapping. That was the only thing. One thing in the whole episode.

...Oh, so very sad. This was basically Tricia Tanaka is Dead with a twist. Complete with the Three Stooges (Hurley, Sawyer, and Jin). 3x10: The Three Stooges Do Little Miss Sunshine. 3x14: CSI: Craphole Island feat. The Three Stooges.

Well, okay, also, we got to see Boone and Shannon.

The episode didn't really help along the plot, did it? Except for the "Surprise! I kidnapped you, Sun!" from Charlie and the killings off of two unpopular characters, it was basically a filler episode. Though I did enjoy watching Sawyer yell "Who the hell are you?" and then when he got slapped by Sun. lol

That buried alive thing was creepy though...
