For those who don't know, gachapons are those capsule machines that spit out random goodies from anime figures to pendants! I gotta say that most of the ones that I see where I live in Hawaii are junk, since they are extremely small and are painted badly. But I absolutely love the ones that I saw in Japan, which is where I went to last October. This department store, "Yodobashi Kamera", had whole section of gachapon, like 500 machines! I thought that I wouldn't get much at first, but the place had so much awesome stuff, mostly anime related! The price ranged from 100 to 300 yen, depending on the size or features of the item. I got carried away getting a bunch of Evangelion, Keroro Gunso/Sgt. Frog, and Naruto (Souvenirs for friends, not me. I don't like the Naruto series much except for Hinata and NaruHina.) figures! Taking a good look at them, they are pretty high quality, especially the Evangelion pilot figures! Not a paint out of place! I'd say I was a lucky person too, since I got Shinji, Asuka, and Rei on my first tries! (^O^)/ I also got Sergeant Keroro on my first try on one machine and Naruto on my second from another machine!
