If I may Present theArisslatr & Nyed Gaian Wedding The wedding will be the 21st of febuary in the forums. Im not sure How im gonna go about it just yet, but I do know I need something to wear. Is it unappropriated for somebody to lend me something to wear? Does anybody have anything to lend, I assure you I have no interest in keeping it. I rather like my chicken Avi. editUnforchantly the wedding is on hold, due to my "hubby's" frantic work times. Thank you all so much for being so supportive. blaugh

It is tradional to have something borrowed on your person at your wedding. You know, "Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, and a silver sixpence in her shoe."
People tend to ignore that last one, for some reason...

Light Is My Deaths Curse British coins. 3nodding If I remember correctly (Isobel, tell me if I'm wrong) a pence is around the same value as a penny. Also there were sometimes half pence and quarter pence, orignally because people would cut up the coins since they were made of semi precious metals.

I think the best thing if you want to go big and white would be the Winter Rose. They were on the Thank you Letters for January, and provided I haven't changed my Avi, I should be wearing the dress. If you could collect a couple of them that would be super. I would be willing to lend you mine the day of if that's the route you want to take. If it is, you can PM me and we can work things out. wink

That reminds me, me and my boyfriend got engaged on Gaia months ago and we still haven't had a Gaia wedding. I better remind him, we need to hold the ceremony sooner than later, Gaia weddings are fun!
