We've recently started a group blog at gaiacast.com so that we can continue to ruminate, analyze, and discuss issues of interest to us.
Don't get me wrong, we all really love doing the podcast, but geographic and access issues for our team right now are really standing in the way of making it something we can do on a regular basis. We have been working to arrange special once-off episodes that we can bring to you with some special guests and the sort. But its only for things like that where we can realistically get together and do the eps.
The blog and other intermediary projects are there, and we are updating them on a regular basis - the blog gets 1-3 posts a day from us - with gaia oriented news and analysis as well as other non-gaia entertainments that all will enjoy.
Just to reiterate: If we could be doing the podcast with our team, we definitely would be. We always had a metric ton of fun doing it, and if and when it becomes possible for us to get back to doing it on a regular basis - you can bet your boyshorts we will.
==
On another note - we're also really interested in helping other people who want to contribute to the community through projects, etc -- so if you've something you'd like to do, we'd be really happy to help you with it. We have (relative to most GCP groups at least) fairly significant experience and resources in regard to project organization/development/support -- and we have other resources as well (such as web space if you need it, for example)... So if you'd like to get involved, AIM me or PM anyone on the team and we'll get back to you pretty quick to help you get started.

..I'm not getting into this one.
Podcast are nice, but don't you see that they're not always the best solution to your loneliness problems? Turn to Booze and Crack and all your problems will dissolve away (Not that I'm promoting the use of drugs or alcohol.)
Or possibly some Acid. Or you could take your anger out of those in high places like the lovely admins that didn't say anything to us when Gaia broke around a week or two ago. That was one fun week, posting fake announcements and not being able to edit your guild settings, amongst various other problems.
So you see, your petty podcasts aren't as important as things like Friends, Family, Ponies, videogames, booze, whiskey, acid, LSD, PCP, black tar Heroin, love, and clouds.
Seriously, you can stare at a cloud for hours and see what cool shapes it makes. Works great with Acid. (Still not promoting the use of drugs)
(Why did I write this? Absolutely no idea. XD. Enjoy)
