A small shelter that takes care of the wounded despite what side they are on, it is primarily resistance run, but in general is considered to be neutral. The shelter also provides food and medicine to the people displaced by war.
It is primarily composed of storage, a mess hall, staff rooms, and bedding/rooms for wounded and homeless. They are often over crowded, some people being forced to sleep on floors and in corners.
Volunteer work is always appreciated, and a large part of the shelter depends on it.
When it comes to defense, the shelter is very sparse, they depend on their neutrality to protect them from attacks and raids...however that doesn't always work.
The head of the shelter is a Magdala Crane, a middle aged woman who worked as a nurse pre-revolution. There are a few surgeons and doctors, as well as a few supers with healing powers, including Ruby St. Claire.

Laurel lands outside the shelter, and lets the Shadow Cloak shrink down to its ribbon form. She goes in, carrying the supplies that she's brought from Krovh. She's sweaty and tired, and bears evidence of a few near misses from ground fire. After taking the supplies to the storerooms, she goes to see Magdala Crane.

Seth taps on Laurel's shoulder lightly. "Hello child" he had just finished up scaring a patient into thinking that Seth is the Grim Reaper... since he had gotten bored waiting for Laurel to return so he could check in on her before leaving for a while.

Magdala smiled to Laurel as she came back, giving a small side nod to Seth. "We have some shrapnel wounds to attend to on the main floor, and need more hands, apparently the mines have been placed again." She glanced back at Seth, "you're welcome to talk, so long as you help you while doing so."

"Dark Side? Um everything is fine I've made a few deal advanced my power a little in this building war all is well how about yourself keeping safe?" Seth glances at Magdala with his white eyes. "The only help I have to offer is speeding your patients into the after life."

You're helping those humans who want to destroy people who are like us - different, aren't you? Of course, the Union City types are just as bad - wanting to destroy the humans. I think I can definitely say that I'm on the side of the angels here...or at least one of them. smile
And if nothing else, you can help roll bandages.

Magdala shook her head, "we all have to take our own role in this war." She handed Laurel a roll of bandages, "now don't just stand around, we need your help."

An human soldier burst through the doors of the shelter his armor broken in many places and blood oozes from the armor. His face is pale from blood loss and at this point he still thinks he is in combat. he raises his rifle to fire at one of the nurses.
A super had followed the soldier he too was injured but not as bad. in his hand a glowing red flame appears and takes shape of a sword like weapon which he ceremonially plunges into the humans heart.
The Human soldier drops his rifle and looks down at the fiery sword sticking through his chest and falls forward.
the Super just runs off to fight more AoH troops.

Laurel follows, and uses a small blade to cut the cloth away from wound. She wiped away the blood and looked for an exit wound.

The now dead Soldier bleeds out in the door way creating a nice pool of blood.

A few helpers started cleaning up the bleeding mess of the dead soldier, it wasn't a seen that new to them.
The exit wound on the nurse was in her back, an inch to the left of her spine.
