I don't know if you've ever noticed, but the Velvet Underground never gets much airplay. I know I've heard them sometimes, but only on one radio-station who is known for playing the wierdest music.
That might just be on Long Island, though, that we don't get much VU music. So I'm wondering, do you ever hear them on the radio?

I usually only hear Sweet Jane (which means I've heard it twice..), and once, maybe twice I've heard Rock and Roll. One time though, they played Femme Fatale, and I was in a good mood all day from that >.<;

I've heard Sweet Jane, but that was on a request night, and weird songs like that are usually played on request nights. Our radio station also has Little Steven's Underground Garage on Sunday nights, and he plays well...underground music razz So I've heard some VU on there, but that doesn't really count.

Yeah that song used to be played just about every day here. Kinna gets on my nerves, I love Lou though...just that song.

The only half decent radio station that I can find here is q104.3, and you have to listen to 4 not so great songs before you get to a decent one. Which is suprising, cause I live in NYC. Maybe I haven't looked hard enough, not much of a radio fan.
