It was sad, they left out so much. The one that made me most confused was the prisoner of azkaban. I mean what was up with the huge clock? Alfanso shouldn't have had the students in regular clothing half the movie, and he could have atleast tried to make the landscaping similar to the movies before him.

Ugh, the clothes were horrible in the 3rd movie. Harry couldn't afford clothes like that, Hermione wouldn't have cared enough, and Ron can barely even dress 'Muggle'. It was yucky.
Then again, I have no love for any of the movies at all.

I agree, and what was Hermione doing with her hair up in Lupins class? Harry and Ron or anyone for that fact doesn't see her with her hair up untill the Yule Ball!

Although I do agree with your points, something to consider is the fact that each book covers a full year, and it is hard to get all of that into a two hour movie. To get everything in its entire detain you would be sitting through a 12 hour movie. Although I did not love the movies, I liked them and I think that the two directors (Chris Columbus, Alfonso) did a good job with what they had.

I disagree, Alfonso added alot of stuff that shouldn't even be in there. Columbus did do a good job given what he had. Atleast the next movie will be directed by a Britian.

The Lord of the Rings movies were covering much larger books then HP, and they still managed to do a beautiful job. Although Columbus did do a better job then Alfonso, none of the movies really seemed to capture the spirit of the books, to me. I mean, when I read the books, I really believe, not so when watching those movies.
