Hi, I'm Katie/Bayer and the VU is probably my second favourite band...if not tied with The Who as my favourite. I'm 17 and I play viola...just like John =D Hehe, that's part of what drew me into VU is that they had a violist.
So that's me! Now it's everyone elses turn razz

Yo, Kanti 3000 (but you can call me mat) here, I’m actually kinda new to the Velvet Underground (been in to ‘em for a few weeks now), but I’m a pretty big fan. I'm 18, and don't play anything...except for nintendo.
I’m a huge fan of David Bowie, and I started listening to Lou Reed’s music after finding out Bowie produced one of his albums; and by that time I was already a fan of some of John Cale’s songs (got Jack the Ripper off a mixtape), so after I found out Lou Reed and John Cale were both in the same band, I had to hear it. And that’s how I got into the Velvet Underground.
Oh and the Who is another one of my favorite bands

I'm Courtney/Baroque and I love TVU, especially when I'm in a crazy mood. I'm 14. ninja
My brother told me about TVU. The first song I ever heard by them was Venus in Furs. It remains one of my favorites to this day. whee So I nabbed his CDs and I've been listening to them for about two years now. Whee.
I'm learning guitar, and I play flute and piano. So I love music all around.
(I like The Who too!)

I don't think the VU is my favorite band, but they're definetly waaaayyyy up there.
I know a little too much of their music, and I know kind of a lot about them. ohhh ohh, I could do a biography or something about them if you want!! (I'd have to do a little more reading, but hey, I love reading.. ^^ wink
Well. I play guitar, and I can play Sunday Morning on guitar, and After Hours.
Sunday Morning is the first VU song I ever heard, and as soon as it started I was in love, and the record its off is my favorite one ever! I forgot the name, though
My sister owns the Peel Slowly and See Box Set, and I listen to it too much.
umm well pretty much thats it, and I loooove the guild name, and the guild.

oh those songs are really easy.
I think I know Here She Comes Now, but I don't feel like remembering.
I can write down the tabs to the songs write here.

I used to know Knockin' on Heaven's Door and Stairway but I forgot over the summer...guitar string broke and I don't know how to fix it, so...I never played it.

I wish my dad was more into VU, but he pretty much hates them because of the "screechy viola" sad I love the viola haha. And I'm pretty sure the only Lou Reed song my dad knows is Walk on the Wild Side D:
