The sun was lowering slowly in the sky as Ta'Ziyan found himself padding up towards the top of the rock. His steps were slow and deliberate, showing he had not a care in the world. There was no rush, simply the strolling of a humming lion, his form large and grown into as his final spurt had already passed.
His final step to the base of the long rock were strong and powerful, though the dogish shake of his mane took any image of a strong lion away. Turning, he looked out to the distance before searching around for a golden lioness he knew quite well. Sighing, he looked around one last time before stepping towards the dens, more so in hope that she could possibly be there.

-Kami glanced back once more at the den, casting one more look to the two young ones that rested and entertained themself inside. Kami still felt guilty about the loss of the twins. In fact she feared the day Kiuma actually returned. But she had really tried.. Searching herself.. sending out a small search party.. and nothing. They'd left, and she couldn't say she was surprised. But at that note.. she didn't worry about them either. They were tough cubs. And the two of them together... bonds of twins were a very strong thing.
Casting one last glance at the red and creme children of her sister, she stepped outside the den a little further, eyes touching the setting sun. Where was Ta right now? Had he slipped off to his old den without her notice? Or was he out roaming the lands meeting the members in a form of bravery Kami would never have?
Her auburn tail flicked gently back and forth. She wanted him back soon. Her mind had been trickling over thoughts lately, and no matter how she tried to shake it, they crept and prodded. She wanted to tell him. Needed to.-

His eyes glanced back out once more in the fleeting direction of the landscape, before he turned and stilled with every part of his form. Kami had crept up while he was looking away, and seemed to just come from the dens. Letting out a deep breath of air she could easily have heard, he moved a bit quicker towards her with his boyish smile, his whole body nervous though humming with joy at being by her side once more.
"Kami..." He murmered softly as he reached her, and he gently moved to nuzzle her in greeting, licking her cheek a bit fleetingly as he pulled away. Settling, he took a look at her and his smile grew, "I was hoping I would find you here..." He continued a bit stronger, showing how much he missed her that day, "Are you hungry?"
It was a fleeting afterthought, but Ta seemed to always push to please the female before him, or maybe worry her a bit too much as well. And he felt he had to, now that she took on the weight of the pride on top of the passing of her father. Since that fateful night, he always found himself worried being away from her, and so he pushed to be by her side as much as he could. And when he wasn't, he couldn't help but worry a bit, and try and get back as soon as possible.

-And almost as if he'd heard her silent call Ta was suddenly there, his affectionate and well welcomed greeting bringing a soft purr from her. And gently she returned the affection, taking a step closer to brace his pulling away, cheek nuzzling gently into the fluff that was his mane.- "That's funny, I was kind of waiting for you too. What wonderful timing."
-Casting another glance back, to make sure the young ones were entertained, she was visably distracted when his question sounded, and slowly she shook her head, soft smile touching her maw.- "N..no.. not hungry. But.."
-Digging up every ounce of royal confidence and dignity that she could manage, to try and sooth her nerves, which seemed to quickly unraval now that Ta WAS here for her to speak to, she laughed a little nervously.- "But maybe we could talk... Down in your old den. Somewhere private?"
-This was hard enough as it was.. without the thought of other lions peeking in on the things she was about to say.-

At her first reaction he let out his own soft purr, echoing deeper than her own with his masculin tone. Simply sitting and enjoying their moment together, he settled his head against her own adn took a soft breath. Letting it go, he followed her glance as she pulled slightly away, and commented on her first greeting.
"I tend to run into you right when it's needed..." He said a bit embarrased, "Or you tend to find me, no matter where I go...it is kinda amazing."
He trailed off to think it over and just hummed a bit at her but, his eyes drifting away to remember all the times she found him even when he tried to run away, and all the times he knew just where to find her. During her pause, he finally snapped out of his memories and eyed Kami for the first time really, and sensed a bit of nervousness in her words and actions.
So, paitently, he straightened just a bit and put on an encouraging smile, curious as to what might have gotten her in the sort of anxious persona.
"Talk?" He echoed a bit, before nodding a bit too much, so that his mane went flying into his eyes, "Sure, I dont mind, it's been awhile since we've really had privacy..."
With that soft regretful tone, moreso on his part, he seepishly lowered his head and nuzzled her one last time, "...Sorry for that, I've grown too used to the eyes here on the rock, but now that I think about it, I really would enjoy some time truly alone with you. No advisors, no pride members, just us."

-A smile perched upon her golden maw as he spoke of their uncanny timing. Amazing was an appropriate word for it. But then, often times even the most complacent things seemed amazing if Ta was alongside her for them.
She soon began to fidget however as his words began to draw and dip about her question, growing softly concious of her nervousness. But luckily he saw it too, and she smiled thankfully as he agreed.-
"I think a little time alone is exactly what we need. These kind of things are delicate."
-And out of excitement and bundled nerves, she took a few quick paw steps forward, begging him to follow with silent eyes.-

He led the way with an aire of silence, now quite a bit curious as to what they would talk about. It was true that they were never alone, and now as they moved away from all the demands and eyes, he found himself getting a but nervous and excited, curiousity pooling throughout his mind. Glancing over to the golden beauty beside him, he moved a bit closer until their sides brushed, pelts of gold and copper mingling.
Finally, after a long walk of silence they made way to his den, the dark shadows lining the entrance and making it seem like a natural rock formation. The advantage there was that few would make out the rock, and even less would think of looking. Such was the convience of his old den.
Stepping into the shadows, he took in a deep breath before turning, copper eyes glowing with question as he took in the glow of Kami, "Just as I left it..." He said with a low voice, eyes going downcast at the memories that the home held.
