Fighting is a big part of most rpg games online or not... So here is my question Are there going to be NPC monsters / mods that we are faced against that are done by the mods or are there just going to be monsters we ourselves play or use in the rp?
Either way there is going to be a need for damage or some form of controlled damage or ells there will be a lot of god moding ... which no one really likes in rp(s)... So how will this be done? There are many ways we could do it for example
A Combat knife can do 1D8 damage since there is a roll dice command in Gaia.... maybe the weapons could be set up that way so the damage isn't always the same and it also allows the person who is the monster to say what happens to it instead of the attacker...
This will also aid in PC fights... if that ever happens... Also damage isn't just limited to fighting it is also part of magic and should probably be applied to it since there are offensive spells
Weapon Examples:
Throwing Dart- 1D4 Quarter Staff:- 1D6 Combat Knife- 1D6 Short Sword- 1D10 Sword- 1D12

Yes. Though it is not limited to only combat, Gaia's dice system will determine damage. Weapons have their own stats that will augment damage and mods will control most - if not all - enemies. We might recruit other members, though, to play the parts of generic opponents for others to battle. It depends on how the guild grows.

Ok monsters will be done mostly by mods.... wow you'll have your hands full depending on how big this rp gets....
So have you figured out how you know there will be an in-counter? Roll of the dice... Mentioned in a post... or some other idea maybe someone has -looks out into the crowed of guild members-
