well I have been kind of "off duty" for a couple months due to pregnancy. ONe would think that since i have been taking it easy I would have lots of time to draw, but I just keep doing other things, like learning to Crochet, and actully cloth diapers.
Anyway.
My Goal is to have all my commissions done before the baby is Born (Due May 10th)
I have been making good progress, but not wonderful.
A couple I may not beable to post here as I used to accept rather adult commissions (outside Gaia) but alot of them will just be "Pin-ups" so at most will be artistic nudity.

This is my latest finished piece. It was completly my own idea (trying to get in the mood to do commisisons). Loosely inspired by the song Colors of the Wind from the movie Pocahontas.
Title: Earth Goddess
11x14 Bristol. Prismacolor Markers, very light accents of Colored pencil.
The Original actully sold rather quickly, which really made me happy.

yay, new artwork!

anyhow....i'm pretty fond of this. i really like how its earthy (who could have guessed, from the title?!) but is still light and airy. in the future, i think the composition could benefit from a little fraying of the windy path of leaves (so it's not so structured), but it looks pretty awesome as is. i especially like the position of her legs mrgreen

in the flicker.

not what I look for in drawing really, but its light and fresh, which I like. What interests me is the flying debris; it looks more like some sort of symbolic pattern than an organic swirl, is that the intention?

thank you.
the structure was kind of intended, like she was kind of showing off, and in a way showing she was in a way a part of the leaves, and thus had that much control of them.
