Feb.13.07 I see you in many faces Everyday, as I move through My routine. Every time I see you, You’re different: In so many unique ways, That I see you, wherever I go, whatever I do. Can you tell me why I never knew your name? Other than the same smile, Or the same wave- How come I know you so well? I didn’t KNOW YOUR NAME. Did I ever know you as more than a face? Do you want to be seen? Or is it that I want to see you again. What am I anymore? Just someone who desires to see you again. Am I the only one, who does this? This looking for you in every face, And when I see you, looking away. I reject the will of others to talk about you, As if YOU WERE MORE THAN SOMETHINGI see in each face I walk past, Hear in each voice I listen to, And feel i n e v e r y b r e e z e . You’re always hiding somewhere That I want to be, and I know full well, that I’ll never get away from this feeling - What you were to me, meant more to me Than it ever will to you. Are we just friends? That meet a million times over, In every step dream lifetime, Without saying ‘hello’.

February 16.. I'm improvising here. D;I feel like there are wings of iron attached to my shoulders, Making me invincible. I can see you all fly together, away, though, And nothing makes me feel less proud. I feel like there is a wall of bricks around my lips, Making me safe from regret, I can hear you talking about love, though, And nothing makes me feel less proud. So come and lift these wings from my shoulders, so I can fly away. Come and pull this wall from my lips, and hear all I have to say. We'll fly away together, dear, to paradise far from here, And talk into the night, dear, of the things I am subject to fear.

I'm not so sure about the beginning, but the last 4 lines are golden.

I have ten little aunties, the cronies of my mother. Every thursday they will visit, And talk to one another.
1 used to be a theater star, and has a beautiful smile, she carries herself so gracefully, her clothes never out of style
2 was a secretary, she listens very well, you can trust her with any secret, and she'll never tell.
3, 4, and 5 worked in a factory, side by side, always together, their hands are still strong and true, with a texture like coarse leather
6 was the "nurse in the war" her eyes always a little far away, you can never leave her alone in a room, without her begging you to stay.
7 and 8 are my favourite old maids, always in mischief and gossiping, It makes me blush to hear them talk Of sex- and that kind of thing
9 is the oldest and childless, Bent from the weight of time, All I know about her is, that she takes her tea with lime.
10 is the mother to us all, with 14 children of her own, why is it that with so much work, she still ended up alone?
I've sat up late with them since I could sit up straight, I love how they give me candies and let me stay up late.
They've told me things I shouldn't hear And things I want to forget But still, for me and for my life, they are the greatest I've met.

Here are two: Memory’s Hallway By: guardianangel 517 In each person is a special hallway; A hallway where one can go when they’re in need. It is called the Hallway of Memory. In its twisted hallways and paths Are doors that hold something unique. It’s part of the past’s antiques You walk on the path set before you Walking past doors whose rooms hold scenes you’ve seen Only you know what each of them mean. Some rooms are filled with happiness, While others of grief. Some are long and some are brief. Some are of scenes that you cherish the most, And others hold something with pain, Like death or some other kind of bane. You walk past these doors, Past things you’ve seen or done, And stop at one that holds none. This door is meant for your new memories. It’s just waiting here, ready for you To place in it a scene that’s new. The Story of Life By guardianangel 517
Each person on Earth Has a story to tell. A story of Life That they can spin well.
But it doesn’t matter How many you ask, For each person’s story Will be in contrast
Each person’s story Holds many chapters Some hold grief While others hold raptures
Each story has A different cast Of characters and settings, With amounts that are vast.
And yet at the end Of each person’s story, There are blank pages Without loss or glory
For it is here where you continue Life’s story…

I read we are welcome to post a poem. This one was by my friend ((Stephanie or CouNTRY_GiRI))With her permisson I thought I should post it.: though the soul is blackened by all are sins to know we live in harmony brings back that speck of light
though hearts are cracked from failed love we know new loves can mend them
though worrys well come and worrys well go we can find always find a solution
and to know we can always prevail thats just a bonus

I've got a poem that i wrote, tell me what you think
Nameless
"Who are you?" A man once asked me. Though I knew it was to me That he addressed this question, I had to pause and think. He had wanted my name, Of that there can be no doubt, But how can I suffice to be a name? It's a simple thing really, a name, But is it really me? Is that who I really am? No, it can't be, for I am more, More then this mere autonym. I am too complex to be but one word, One meaningless, insignificant word. I cannot be summed up so easily. Words for all their power, can't describe me. So I turned to him, curiosity in his eyes, And smiled saying, "I can only show you."
