I am not entirely sure why I like yaoi. I suppose it may be because I am more physicaly attracted to males than to females, so a romance between males is more appealing to me than one between two of the oposite gender. Not that I have anything against those relationships not between two males.

because I am gay, and I prefer to watch shows that have characters that I can relate to better (atleast better than a hetero show)

I like yaoi because its better than reading plain old hetero romance fan-fics and same sex relationships are much more interesting.

The naughtiness aspect of it. Most of us were taught that love is ONLY between a guy and a girl and anything else is ASINANDYOU'REGOINGTOHELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *cough* One of my aunts is a nun. >_>;;;
So for me, part of it is the forbidden aspect, but the other part is that two hot guys making out is incredibly appealing. Two (or more) hot anybody's making out is appealing.
Not just any yaoi pairing though. They have to be complimentary personality-wise as well as aesthetically.

Because seeing two (or more) men together makes my heart melt. For me, it seems as if their love is more true. Not saying that's always the case, just that it seems like it happens quite often (in anime and manga). heart
