She was very bored, and things, she realized, probably couldn't get much worse than that. Other than it raining, but there wasn't a cloud in the sky and the sun was shining merrily as if it wouldn't ever let a touch of rain ever happen again. Snorting at her ridiculous thoughts, she began to prance around, almost as if she was doing a dance, only with horse hooves. Yes, she was bored. Oh, so very bored. Man, she actually missed her brother, for goddess' sake!
"One of these days," she reflected out loud, "I might need a shaman to help me." She giggled.

Freedom. Finally.As much as he loved his mother and didn't mind playing 'uncle' for the energetic little filly that his mother cared for on and off, even he had his limits. Everyone needed a little time to stretch their legs and wander aimlessly, right? Maybe even meet someone new? Stretching his legs came easy; all he had to do was take a good gallop through the meadows, dash down the riverbanks like a high-strung colt, and leap over fallen logs in the forest. Wandering aimlessly? That was also easy and he'd been doing it for the greater part of an hour, pausing here and there to sample particularly tasty-looking tufts of grass. It was the meeting someone he hadn't had much luck at today until he happened to notice a soquili not too far away. The stranger appeared to be dancing, of all things. Hm... He gave a slight shrug, as though shoving the notion that solitary dancing might be odd away, and approached at a brisk trot.

She soon stopped her odd dance as she began to calm down, losing some energy as she began to become bored once more. Of all things, why was she so random like this? She shrugged a wing, thinking she was going to end up going crazy because she was basically talking to herself now. As she turned around to start randomly pacing, a stallion caught her eye, causing her to stop, blinking in surprise. He was coming toward her quite quickly, something that surprised her.
Unable to say anything at the moment, feeling embarrassed that she'd probably been caught dancing, she gaped for a minute and then turned away, trying to compose herself. The stallion she had merely taken a glance at was... how could she put it... interestingly colored. She smothered a giggle and then turned to properly greet whom she assumed would be her new friend. "Um, hello there!" she called as she watched the stallion come closer towards her.

He slowed his approach as she turned and noticed him, flashing a sheepish smile to the femme in hopes of perhaps not scaring her away or coming off as a nosy jerk.
"Sorry if I'm interrupting anything," he drawled slowly, coming to a stop a few paces away and tossing a few unruly ringlets of mane from his eyes. "I saw you moving around a bit....dancing I assumed at first...but I wanted to make sure everything was alright in any case."

She cocked her head a him as he stopped just a few paces away, and the flushed embarrassment as she began to explain her ah, "dancing". "Well, you weren't, um, I was just... bored," she finished lamely. "And I was kind of dancing... I mean, there isn't much to do around here, considering. I've already had my fill of brunch, so I just... um..." She stopped because she realized she was starting to babble, and then nodded. "Um, everything's okay. Eheheh."
She'd forgotten to introduce herself in the sudden meeting of yet another stallion, and wow, was he handsome. She'd seen a lot of nice-looking stallions from before, but she had yet to find "the one" for her, as Aruna would often say. Perhaps this stallion would be it? She wasn't sure... She had thought it was Malchai from a meeting long ago, but, well, that meeting hadn't gone very well, and as such, he was named "friend" rather than "lover" but hey, someone was bound to come into her life as a "lover" unexpectedly one day, right?

"I see," he said, a wry smile gracing his muzzle as he politely dipped his head in acknowledgement. "I'm taken with dancing every once in awhile...granted, I'm usually foalsitting at the time and the filly insists on making me look ridiculous as long as it makes her happy." Diallo chuckled at that, rolling his eyes in acceptance of how stupid he must look at those times.
"But anyway, my name is Diallo. I just happened to be out wandering and saw you over here...thought I should investigate. I don't know that many soquili."
