((I have no idea about the plot yet... sooo I figured we could just have them all talk in the bar first of all))

Sura sighed as he walked in the tavern known as 'Mystic Edge.' It was the same ol' same ol.' He sat down and ordered a drink, but another young man caught his eye. He looked withdrawn, like he should be out studying somewhere, instead of in some place with loud, rambunctious drunkards.

He saw two burly men approaching the boy. They would surely give the boy a hard time if he appeared weak like that. "What are you doing?" Sura asked Arc, smoothing out his blue robes cautiously with his fingertips as to not appear too intimidating. "You can't be acting like that in here, all shy and crap." The boy definitely had a softness about him...but it excited Sura. He took Arc's hand and moved him away from the big men.

"Don't even think about it" Sura said, flinching up one hand to stop the two men in their tracks with a 'Stop' spell. He then comically whacked them both in the head with bar stools. They did some funny anime expression and fell down, face-first.

Arc smiled shyly, brushing stray blond locks from his eyes. He looked the boy over who’d just relieved him of his problem. “Thanks.” He was unsure of what to say right away. Normally he was quite empathic and knew the right things to say, but currently he was a little out of place, and thus this empathic skill of his was a little out of whack. “My name is Arc. What’s yours?” As a healer he found it good to be respectable and the such, especially since he was only a novice at best, though his teacher told him he had great potential.

His gaze did drift to the men. They were large and fearsome, and this was only the conclusion made from their appearance. “Perhaps we should just let them off with a warning. I doubt they really meant any harm.” He said this was he grabbed his things quickly, already decided that he was going to stick with this time manipulating wizard.

"My name is Sura" Sura responded, giving a slight nod. "Not to sound like a big ol' cliche but - what's a cute little thing like you doing in a scary place like this?" Truthfully though this was one of the better bars around the area.

"Don't be preachin' to no folks around here, they're not going to take too kindly to that" Sura warned the boy. He instantly recognized the robes as being a part of the 'White Mage' class. He had to admit, he was curious about them. "So tell me....are White Mages born or are they made?" He winked at Arc flirtatiously.

"Are you going to heal them?" he asked.

(*Eye twitch* This is entertaining, but I think it will surely drive me to insanity, heh.)

‘Thank you Sura.” He blushed as Sura called him cute and his other flirting comment, though quickly wiped the thoughts from him mind. “I was studying up on healing people without the use of magic, and I found it too quiet in my room and decided to go someplace with a little more substance, though this place ended up being a little more rowdy than I’d have hoped it would be.”

Arc patted down his robes as he sat down at the table, which he had followed Sura to. “And no, I think they should live with this pain. Not that I want them to suffer, but hopefully it will teach them some respect for the law and other human beings.” He smiled brightly at this.

((I know! This is a bit awkward like we both want to correct each other huh? Oh well it is still entertaining to me, and I want to continue because I can't WAIT to see how wingless portrays Scarlet...))

"I'll buy you a drink... just as a friend though" Sura said semi-confidently. He put down a few gold coins on the table. "Hit me with two turbo ethers, jim." Turbo Ethers were kind of an expensive drink to buy on the first date, but Sura wanted to make a good impression. It wasn't like he could afford a megalixir or anything, which was something that would really make Arc sleep with him on THE FIRST SIP.

Lor was one of the regulars in here. Sura never did know quite what to think of her, but then again, all melee classes confused him a great deal. Still, her female energy was cramping his style- maybe it was just something in the air, but he only wanted to be around men tonight.

"Lor!" Sura exclaimed, "shouldn't you be with the other women raising children or something?" Sura couldn't believe he actually had the balls (and the hidden misogyny) to say that --because Loraya could rip off his testicles in one blink. Still, he wasn't really acting like himself, as he was a bit insecure and he wanted Arc to like him, so he tried to get a little buzz to make himself more socially comfortable. But he went too far with it and now he was stone-cold DRUNK.

Scarlet swung open the doors loudly and stomped in, her prada's clciking against the ahrd wood floor.

"I want a keg of Vodka and i want it NOW!" she said angrily, showing people out of the way as she mad her way ofer to the counter, impatiently drumming her fingernails, filled to a sharp point and painted over with bloodred nail polish.

((ROFLMAO YAAAAY))

Sura raised an eyebrow at the strange woman. Her clothes didn't seem to match her personality at all and there was definitely something peculiar about her. But, Sura was too drunk to be intimidated.

"Oh great. Another woman" he mumbled under his breath but not too soft that Scarlet couldn't hear him. He then let out a soft burp.

Arc looked from Sura to the shadows up high in the tavern’s rafters, but saw nothing of course, though he presumed that some one was there. He shrugged it off though; he hadn’t done anything to anybody. Well, then again he hadn’t done anything to those men either. Still, he had other things on his mind, such as this Sura fellow himself, and this new lady who’d just barged into the establishment barking out order. With all of this commotion it might be a good idea for him not to drink, so he pushed the glass away and smiled curtly at Sura. “I’m sorry, I’m not sure if I want anything like that tonight. But thank you.” He stood and made his way to the bar. He didn’t want to trouble anybody anymore than he already had. “Water please.” He stood at the opposite side of the bar as the loud woman.

"You got a problem," Scarlet said, yanking Sura's head back by his hair, "say it to my face." She thrust his head forward into his drink, knocking the glass off the table, where it shattered on the floor.
"Now WHERE is my drink?"

Sura gasped. He was surprised that a woman as petite as that would start a fight with him, much less be that strong.

He looked over at Arc, worriedly. There was something about this woman. He couldn't sense a conscience anywhere on her. But still, he decided that maybe it would be best to try and break the ice. The woman strangely invigorated him.

"Um, what is your name?" Sura asked as politely as he could. "I'm Sura." He tried to ignore that Scarlet just ruined his drink, and should pay him for that out of respect.

Arc spun around as he heard the commotion behind him, and quickly ran over to Sura, his hands up defensively as he pushed his way in between the two. One appeared to be a drunk, and the other a p***k. “He didn’t mean any harm. I promise.” He gave her a polite smile, brushing long blonde locks from his face. He quickly turned around and grabbed the drink Sura has bought him and offered it to the woman. “If you’d like, you can have my TurboEther. It’s much better than Vodka, and more expensive too, so I think it seems to suit you much better, eh?” The young healer really didn’t want any trouble.

Lor just looked at Sura, her smile never faltering. It was obvious she'd made the right decision deciding to watch after the new kid, since the moronic misogynist was more deranged than usual tonight.

She ignored Scarlet, since she wasn't really in the mood for anymore stupidity. The shadowdancer did keep her knife at her fingertips though, ready to throw it at the next person to say something stupid. However, to all appearances, she was merely enjoying a beer quietly, her eyes bright in the dim tavern light.
