Okay, so, due to some confusion, I decided to move the Speed daters to this thread. Just pretend that this is also the hall, and nothing happened whee heart ErosMinionAi . heart . heart . heart . Speed Dating . heart . heart . heart . Well hello hello hello! Gents and germs my name is Ai and I'm here to host a lovely little event with you. While not participating with my good partner, Yoshe, I'll be sending singles off to their doom-- err, to their fantasies! My job for this little party is to get all of you having a good time and meeting some new people. Make a few friends here and there and maybe even meet the love of your life!
If you have questions about either event they may be PMed to me and I shall deal with them promptly!
So how do we play? What a question! What a question! Our first question and it's such a silly one. Well, for those of you who don't quite understand speed dating, it's a sort of 'event' in which you sit down and meet with a single other person for just a few minutes and chat with that person. The goal is to meet as many people as you can and try to find some friends or even a possible lover.
Of course, it'd be far too complicated to work like that here so we're running things a tad differently. We're going to assign to you a partner, and over the next week or so, you will RP with this person. It'll be a very short but hopefully interesting RP, only a few posts long, and when I say switch and announce your next partner, you'll begin the process all over. However, after you've finished an RP you must quote the whole RP, players and all, and post it in a special thread here. At the end of that post you will give your opinion on how well it went (IC please).

Astro Zombies` Sanzo glared at his date.
"Normally someone has to beg for me to talk, whats your problem? If you have a problem then you should perhaps state it. I dont want to waste your precious time"
He sighed and threw out his cig, wondering to himself how was it that people could be polite. It wasnt something he was able to do. It wasnt something he tried often.

Caden frowned and sat down fixing the sling that held his arm. He'd tried to dress nice for valentines days, black pants, red silk shirt. But as he heard the names called out he noticed how few people were here yet. So he sat to wait for his first date.

Soeren walks into the hall and looks around. He had received a text message saying that there was a rather bored Caden waiting for his date to show up. Spotting the bunny/wolf he walked over towards the redhead, "Hey Caden."

Caden glanced towards were the voice came from and smiled upon seeing Soeren. " Soeren, i hadn't expected to see you here." He said giving him a one armed hug considering his other one was in a sling.

C.C.G Orin gasped a sigh of relief upon grabbing a handful of napkins. But in his haste he'd forgotten one important object in need of making flash cards. "Pen.....pen-pen-pen-pen-pen-pen-pen-pen-pen!!!" He would have torn up the snack bar if he hadn't shown up. Orin glanced up momentarily at the extended hand with the ball point pen grasped in it. "PEN!" He exclaimed and reached for it, tugging at it eagerly from the owners hand. The boy pressed down on the top and listened intently for the normal clicking sound it made when pressed. He continued to do that for acouple seconds, just pressing and re-pressing the pen to hear the click of it popping in and out. He then tilted his head up regarding the male who gave him the object. "Funny sound, huh?" Orin smiled at the stranger. He continued to stare at him, waiting for the response, in the flash card game he'd played before it was considered 'rude' to not look at someone when they were talking. After awhile of the two just staring at each other Orin became uncomfortable enough to break eye contact. It was like he was playing a staring game. He obviously lost. He began to gulp up air, he guessed he was holding his breath. Turning his attention back to the napkins he began scribbling onto one. Biting on his lower lip he, closed his eyes tapping the pen rhythmically against his forehead. "What should I write?" He asked aloud, more to himself. He bent down further and leaned against the table as he began scribbling into the napkin again. "I'm really good at my multiplication...and color games." He said not looking up. "I like playing flash cards. Its fun. Especially when there are ink blobs on 'em. My owne- err....friend Candie, she has me play flash cards everyday. Something about my memory not being so good." His head rested on his open palm, his elbow sitting on the table. He remembered something from the flashcard game on 'people skills', 'if you dont have anything nice to say dont say anything at all'. His voice sounding forced he leaned forward, towards the other. "You have nice....errrrr...." Orin looked up, peering threw his bangs. "...ummm.....eyes?" He smiled faintly, shrugging as if the make compromise.

The bear was about to berate Caden about being more careful, when he heard the end of his statement. Standing a little straighter the bear said, "You have a present for us... a few presents for us?"
