I don't feel like making a huge thread.
Ill just say that without The Pogues no bands like Flogging Molly would even exist.
They virtually created Irish Punk, although they sing folk.
Also check out Shane MacGowan's (lead singer) former band The n****e Erectors (known as The Nips by most)

The Pogues are amazing (my favorite band) and I would also recommend checking out Shane MacGowan and the Popes.

awww i already made a pogues thread. I put the name under the first. I just saw em live. NO joke thay are still amazing. Though shane threw up, and fell down, and was his usual self....aka drunk
