Now there are many scientists who claim to have found the lost contentent of Atlantis, and even have explained how Atlantis could have ended up in the sea because of a giant Tsumane caused my small earthquacks on the ocean floor. Do you think that Atlantis coud have been real? I think it could very much be real. An excavation I want to say off the coast of Greece (I'm not to sure where exactly) scientists think they may have found it. They found stones on the ocean floor that are way to perfectly put together to be made by nature. They think though they are not fully sure if it is Atlantis. I kinda think it is. Its just like the Mythical Light House of Alexandria Egypt. Scientists have found proof of that as well.

Over the years many have found what they think was once Atlantis. On of this that I know of was a city that was surrounded by artificial canals. And other people believe that Atlantis was in fact one of the magical ‘Faerie Islands”, such as Avalon, Tir Nan Og or Hy-Breasail. But I’m not really sure if it’s real or not, but I would like to believe that it is.

I have found the legend fascinating, though after watching several Discovery Channel programs, all claiming to have found the lost city, it does become discouraging.
You have to wonder if they'll ever find the real thing.

i personnally think atlantis was a gaint city that reached far and wide then after the tsunami in was split afetr years of erosian and all the parts that we found and claim are actually parts that got split up

well, "magic" has become science (such as chemistry, applying to alchemy) so I would not doubt that a mythological place could be real, but I leviathan guarding it would be kinda stupid >.<

well I really believe in it. I feel that whoever started it must have had some form of reason why they think its real. maybe a pamphlet or something talked about it. perhaps the greeks? I know there was a roman city that sank, and I did once create a character who was from atlantis and supposedly survived... (maybe I got that from the stupid movie... not sure.. I was sick at the time... whatever... ) anyways, I think that is possible. I dont know for sure of there are many gods but I do know that angels exist. (well ok in my opinion i suppose I should say. dont wanna sound like a looney), And as I see it, if the angels exist, then well... how can atlantis not? there are many places that fit the description but the last time I read up on it, it was near crete... maybe we read it wrong maybe several islands sank, or as one of us said it was the whole island and it all broke apart and split into several parts of the world. who knows really?

Didn't they recently decide that the ruins they found on santorini (sorry no idea how to spell it) were likely candidates for the insperation of atlantis.
apparently they were very advanced, although not machine type stuff, by they had running water.
