I keep hearing guys say its just a holiday the card companies made up for more money but I have my own theory: It was created by a women who decided she wasn't spoiled enough so she created a day where your man has to be romantic or spoil you, or else... I dunno, just a random thought... anyone have any plans?
Mine are probley the same as last year... and the year before that, get my hopes up high that mabey this year my man will do something, anything, even a hand writen note or a day for just the two of us, and then have the day ruined when he decides to spend it at a friends house and not be romantic towards me one bit =(... Im begining to hate this holiday as much as the single people I know do...not to mention my finals start on Valentines stressed

I dance on vday, so nothing special this year either... not that i care anyways.. I guess i dont have that romantic fiber in me...

eh. I thought it was made by scared shy people who want to tell others how they feel. And since they're shy, they decide to make up a holiday. xD

Nice. xd It would be better if you got him to participate. whee Yeah, but he only dances when we're alone. (Doesn't like other ppl to watch him) I can understand that. I was really embarrassed when I was learning and now the guys I dance with are the best in the state, so it's pretty intimidating. domokun

I don't really like it, mainly becuase of the commercialness.
But the main reason I hate it becasue it's alone awareness day crying
I would love it if I had someone to dote on, but yeah... I agree fully on the spoilt girl thing.

That's exactly why I had a party for single guys, so they could have fun and think about how it's Single's Awareness Day (S.A.D.) I know plenty of ppl who got dumped on Vday. That's just wrong.

I don't like V-Day either, just a commercial and government conspiracy like any other holiday (with the exception of Independence Day, Easter, and Christmas). V-Day is as bad as V-J Day (OK, not that bad, but it is still bad).
