Cheerful purple eyes stared out the horizon, the sound of waves setting their owner at peace as he sit there on the beach he'd only just found.
Serge had been hunting for this kind of spot for a long while, he'd found a few that came quite close, but none of those matched up to here, here was absolutely perfect in his mind.
White sand and crystal blue water, warm sun and cool sea breeze, the smell of salt on the air; it all put him at peace. Looking to the sky, he watch idly as the cloud, billowy and white, drift by with out a care.
Truly perfect for him, or so he felt, even if he didn't know why he felt that way.

Rogue hummed to herself as she headed up to the shores. Not expecting to say anybody there, she paused in step and song when she saw a blue haired boy sitting at the waters edge.
"Hey," she called out with a friendly smile. "Ah haven't seen ya here before, isn't it gorgeous?"
She walked up to him and sat down, "Ah'm Rogue."
If Rogue was anything, she was a straight-forward girl.

Serge blinked as he heard the call, a little surprised to see anyone else there. Blinking once more as the girl walked over and sat next to him, introducing herself.
The boy nodded as the comment of their surroundings registered, following with his own name. "Serge..." He said, as he turned back to the sea, the water just lapping at his toes once in a while. The tide was coming in, not that he cared really...but then, maybe this girl would.
"The tide is coming in..." Serge, was as always, not much of a talker.
((It's ok. And no worries, he does talk more after being around someone for a short time. There have been a couple to just pull him right out, but most have to put up with this for a little bit...him saying only what he feels needs saying that is.))

"Serge? Nice to meet ya."
She tilted her head slightly before shrugging it off and continuing to watch the waters. The boy seemed to be a quiet person, that didn't matter, the view was pretty.
After a bit of silence she turned to him, "Do ya come here to watch the tides?"

Serge was silent for a bit before finally deciding on how to answer. "Just found here today...it's peaceful."
Looking at the water, he found himself a little surprised when he saw it draw back much further than it normally did, and before he could think about it, he felt the hairs at the back of his neck stand on end. "Bad!" He said standing suddenly, and grabbing the arm of the girl beside him, they need to move, and now.

Rogue looked up at Serge oddly as he stood up, before she stumbled to her feet slightly "Whoa, what's bad?"
She looked from him to the water before turning back to face him. The water didn't look any different, she couldn't think of what Serge was upset about.

Serge slipped on the un-solid sand, do to a lack of forward movement from Rogue, just as rather large wave began to crest behind them.
"That's bad..." Was all the boy said as he looked back to the water, the wave more or less on top of the two.

Serge got moving as well, but only to have the wave crash down right now them. In an instant everything was blue, and spinning, in what seemed like slow motion, it all stopped after what had seemed an eternity and he looked up through the water, however much it burned do to the salt in it, to see the surface above.
Rogue's arm had been torn from his hand as the wave had receded, pulling them along and into the vast body of water. She apparently hadn't been pulled as deep as him, as she was a little way above him, closer to the surface than he was.
Swimming up, he hoped she was still conscious, and able to swim no less.

One second she was looking up at a wave, and the next she was spinning around in it. She had grabbed a small breath of air before being submerged in the random body of water they had been attacked with.
Looking around stung her eyes but she tried to deal with it as she looked around for the Serge boy. As she saw a blur start moving she quickly began kicking her legs to get herself to the surface, her lungs were beginning to hurt. Finally surfacing, she treaded water as she took a big gasping breath before relaxing.
She had been used to some pretty weird things, but this definitely topped anything recently. What was going on?

Serge surfaced only a second after the girl, taking in his own deep breath. "You okay?" He asked after a moment of catching his breath.
It was a little troublesome, he noted to himself, that when he looked around, the shore wasn't in site. Could they really have been pulled so far out?

"'Course, it takes more than a little lake to harm meh... of course, not having ground may ruin my happy mood." She spoke with a small smile, treading water easily as she glanced around.
"So... what exactly just happened? We got attacked by a wave, .. so now where are we?" Her question could have been directed to Serge if he thought it was, it might have also been said for her just to think out loud to herself about the situation.

"No clue..." Serge answered, using one hand to wipe wet bangs from his left eye. "I don't see the beach..." He added with a sigh, trying to ignore the rather unpleasant taste of what little salt water got in his mouth.
He liked the sea an all...but there were limits to some things.
Out of the corner of his eye he caught movement, though it was unclear just what it had been. As he felt something smooth and cold brush passed his leg, he got a little worried.
But seeing a horizontal tail dipping below the surface put him at ease. "Dolphins..." He stated simply. This could be good for them, if nothing more the sea mammals would likely take them to the closest shore, at least, if what he'd read in that book was for real.

"Oooh, really? Ah've never seen a dolphin before, maybe we can hitch a ride!" She giggled as she took a deep breath and dunked herself under the water, ignoring the stinging in her eyes she looked around at the pretty creatures swimming around them.
Swimming forward alongside a dolphin, she reached out her hand and brushed it softly against it before grabbed a light but firm hold on it's upper fin. And off they went!

Serge, not one to be left behind, copied the action, and was quickly being pulled the same way as Rogue.
Before long he could see a bit of shore line on the horizon, but it seemed different than the beach from before. But, land would be land right now, and it wasn't like the dolphins knew which beach they wanted to return to or anything.
