Skittles followed Vain, skipping behind him merrily seeming to find a second wind of energy. The slight smear of red on his lips might be accounting to his sudden settling. It would hold him for a little the n** he gave Vain when he was picked up and they where leaving.

He knew where they where going the moment Vain mention Hotel. It wasn't far and for winter it was a surprisingly warm day. He giggled and looked back at Oliver Wolfe. "You'll like it in the hotel. It's nice," he said beaming away.

Vain shook his head in amusement as Skittles bounced around. Somedays that kid was a source of a constant headache..though it seemed mister Bram would cost more. He shook his head and looked up. "Well we're here. Welcome to the Travadon."

It was probably expected. The hotel was smallish only three floors and looked dingy with fading paint and the words Travadon in in fading red letters that where pealing. Windows seemed to be boarded up or covered in black paint.

"Come along now. It's cold outside," Vain grumbled, snagging Skittles arm and pulling him towards the walkway.

Right, like it at the hotel - because the hotel is the hotel and it's not where... it's not familiar, things won't be found here that you don't want found because they're to be found in those other places that you know. And you don't know here. Safety in the unknown, in that case; perhaps a little counter-intuitive, but for the moment there was a certain sanctuary. "Oh," he murmured, sticking to brevity so long as that too could be sheltering - because if words slipped out now there would be far too many of them to keep track of and no knowing where to--how to keep the ones you didn't want--

This wasn't going to be easy.

"Charming," laden with an expected politely modest disdain as golden brows arched over an otherwise unmoved expression of indifference, though having known Bram for long enough Wolfe found no evidence of true offense in his tone - it was perhaps unfortunate that however much his grandsire preferred refinement, decorum and things in, frankly, excellent conditions of luxury, he was comfortable in most any environment for the sake of his pursuits.

Still allowing for the lead to lay elsewhere the phoenix paid great mind to the passing peculiarities, if there were any to be procured by sight alone - as it stood he found no particular point of curiosity. At least nothing nearly so fascinating as the echo of a name and purpose. Here was the frightfully mundane - the mix and match of morbid appetites with an establishment practically cliche in its appropriate convenience.

The door creaked open before Vain could reach it a small child standing in a well lit hallway. Unlike the outer appearance he was well dressed in what appeared to be a uniform of russet color tunic and black pants. Across his left sleeve was the golden out line of a rose and sun. His hair was shoulder length, black, with a faint wave in it. The bright green yellow eyes where feral. "Thought 'ou be back. Master is in 'is office. 'Ou want 'im?"

"Hello Mikhail. Would Ailence be able to take time from his schedule to see us..."Vain paused as a second similarly clad young adult appeared though this one had soft curly blond hair and dressed in a more effeminate manner attached itself to Skittles with a pleased squeal. "Hello Telesis.” He rubbed his head looking at the young incubus male for this one had the tell tale ivory horns though small.

“Welcome to the Travadon inn,” he purred smiling up to his soft purple eyes thickly lashed with gold. “I’m Telesis and I’ll be you guide.” He tilted his head smiling happily. “Oooh you brought friends this time. Welcome I’m sure Master would be delighted to have you business.”

“Telli, ‘ou know Master doesn’t like ‘ou cling to customers.” The child sighed. “Come in. ‘Es ‘armless. I’ll ‘ave Jassom get t’e Master.”

“Thank you. Telesis if you would,” he said giving the other a glare. “I’ll tell you sis-“ He smiled as the other let go as if burn. “Bram, Wolfe come along he won’t wait forever.”

Telesis bobbed his head and took the lead. “I’ll take you to the waiting room then. Ummmm, don’t tell Tem please?”

“If you behave."

Despite that social interactions were more than his forte - were quite possibly the true force upon which he survived - Bram observed the goings on with a cooly withdrawn stance, lips caught as ever in the bare curve of perhaps-amusement, a smile so faint it might well be the imagination - and was regardless of imagination not especially engaged. Removed from the surroundings, yes, but hardly detached given the focus he bestowed upon the interchanging of breath and speech. Measuring the relationships in this corner of the world.

As if mute - especially in comparison to previous verbosity - the phoenix followed along, posture and gait such that it was difficult to tell he'd actually relinquished the lead. Impossible, apparently, for him to truly sink into the background.

Seeing no cause to protest, even though... being here certainly wasn't on his list of top priorities it was at least a good enough Plan B (hope hope hope) Wolfe edgingly tagged along as well, doing his best to pay attention to too many things at once and thus finding himself, unfortunately, feeling a little overwhelmed. Oh, people were so much easier to understand when they weren't there - only they weren't and that wasn't true for everybody so no more generalizing stereotypes, all right? Not working, not working...

The bobbing silvery curls lead the way down the hall painted in a soothing cool blue green with a silvery cast. No beige, white, or toupe here. Wooden hand rails with elegant carved swirls where a bit above waist level. The youngster opened a door and motion them into a room. "Wait here, master will be along soon."

The room was paneled in dark wood with a creamy color celing and multiple over stuff rugs layering the floor. The chairs where dark well worn leather. Antique style lamps shaded in stain glass of red and yellow where set on rough style in tables with a scattering of leather bounded books.

"If you need anything just ring the bell," he added nodding to the small bell hop style bell dyed in black.

"Thank you Telesis. I won't tell your sister anything now get going." Vain stepped in and relaxed into one of the hairs eyes closing. "mmm I wish I had these chairs. Anyways this is the Tavadon inn who deals with those who have odd needs. Skittles don't break anymore lamps please."

Skittles blushed and let go of the lamp shade he had been admiring. "Wolfe! You should try one of the chairs!" He scrambled onto one of them settling down in the leather.

Far from thoughts of laying to rest or any other such nonsense as putting a stop to movement - for how could he bare to be still under this pressure, this not so much force as impending thought that weighed so heavily all the same - Wolfe's feet led him to a lamp and a table and books, fingers falling to old leather with a tender grace usually reserved for his intimates. For physical contact was not at odds with Wolfe's tendencies, in fact he relied on it far more heavily than most of his cohorts, falling to a pattern of draping embraces more quickly and easily than any of those he was most familiar with. But this particular tenderness, the imprecise but delicate care with which he treated these books in an effort to ground himself, bring himself out of the terrifyingly empty vastness he'd so foolishly managed to get so completely lost in, this was more and less than any physicality that might be deemed 'typical'.

Pale eyes flickered once towards Skittles with a half-hearted noise of assent, though he made no move to join the boy and leave behind the unmoving volumes atop their tables. The sooner this was over--no, no that wouldn't be better at all. Oh he just didn't know what to do! But finding out where he was - where all of them were, that would be a start. Though God knew he'd never been able to truly pin down Bram.

Distracted was a poor summary of Wolfe's mannerisms, he decided. Desparately indifferent might be closer to the mark, though Bram would not hold himself to such a definition either. Damnably delusional, delinquent in that he seemed to believe he could get away with pretending that the world hadn't taken the path it'd set foot upon so terribly long ago. Poor boy. A pity he so steadfastly refused to keep up.

"Quaint," he murmured yet again, golden lashes shielding the indefinitely amused glimmer in his eyes. And by 'quaint' he clearly meant to say 'archaic' - though how such could possibly be construed as an insult in context of his own bizarrely antique array of fashion was best left to the most creative of imaginations to discern. "Your intimacy with the staff belies the frequency of your patronage," he went on in low though airy tone, hands clasped at the small of his back, beneath wings as he investigated the walls and adornments with that now familiar detached poise.

"Stumbled on it truthfully. The staff keep quite but that would be expected from someone of thier..old profession," the demon finished smoothy watching Wolfe warly before decided the others intrest was purly harmless. Skittles eyes running on the delicate brass and stain glass lamp was not.

Skittles sigh, kicking his heels against the soft bottom of the chair and stared up at the ceiling. He wasn't going to break anythinnngg..at least not at the moment. Ailence would be mad at him and then he couldn't use the flower room. He dearling love the flower room...

Ailence! The little fox bolted from his seat and happily clung the the indivudal entering the door. "I need the rooom!" It was always the room or Vain made scary faces.

The dark skin demon chuckled softly, black lips parted showing white teeth as he smiled. "The regular then. My, you brought friends." He was cleary amused glancing at Wolfe and then Bram. "Is there anything I can do for your boys? Jaasom if you would?" He glanced back and a second demon, just as wingless as the first lead the boy off.

"Ahh yes, I am Ailence owner of the Travadon. It is rare but delightful when we get new patronage." He bowed courtly towards them. "Is there something you been looking for monsiures?"
