This is a post on what I believe Animal Crossing should be like. If you agree, tell me why and what to improve. If you don't, tell me why as a inteligent person and as some one who gives out imature answers.

To start of, this is what I believe that is most vital to the Franchise:
The camera! The fixed camera that watches over your character and the world including your house is cool, but a full fledge camera that you can controll in 360 degrees is much better. Think about it.
When you walk around your town you can move the camera to view things and stuff. Make it kinda like Zelda, where you can change it to first person and look real close at things. That would be great. Imagine yourself at night looking up at the moon and the stars twinkling realisticly. Or sitting at the beach watching the sun set.
Also to include with the camera is graphics. Give the game more detail. MAke objetcs look what they are made of. Give the animals fur or slime or what ever they need to that you think they woul feel the way you see them. Like a mose would have smooth fur while Nook would have thick fur and a bushy tail. Give the trees a more wooden look, kind how pikmin has it graphically. Everything isn't realistic, but very detailed. And that detail makes it look good and COULD be mistaken for realistc. Resident Evil 4 was realistic looking while Pikmin had very detailed graphics.
Animal Crossing should have at least the graphics engine of Super Smash Bros. Melee.

Second of all, the tools one would have. Almost all the items in Animal Crossing nothing more than look cooler when they become golden. All of the items should improve what they do.

1. Slingshot- the slingshot is one of the coolist things to tell you the truth. Sadly it isn't used much. There should be a lot more things floating in the air or something. OR make it possible to cause mischeif with it. Like hitting other animals or breaking windows. This will cause the animals to rate what type of person you are. So that when strangers go online with each other, the visiter can speak to the animals and get to know what type of person they are.

2.The Fishing rod- one of the best tools to get rich quickly with. But after you collect ALL the fish in the game, that's it. It becomes golden and does nothing more than catch fish again. Kinda pointless. What I believe is Nook should buy fish by the breed of fish AND a calculation of the SIZE the fish is. The size would either raise or lower the price of the fish. SO the golden rod would catch bigger fish more often than the normal fishing rod.

3. The Net- what I said about the fishing rod applies the same to the Net.

4. Shovel- pretty niffty and good. It makes money trees grow! YEAH. This tool is good as well.

5.The watering can- urgh, why did they even make it golden to begin with really? All it does is make dieing BLACk roses into Golden roses. What it should have done is spary water that cover a larger area. To do this the end of the nozzle would spin when water would run through it. Causing to water a larger area. And if you hold the button, it would douse on single plant. This would make what ever was dying into a vigours plant the next hour. Also if it were a black rose, dousing it twice would make it golden the next day. (The reason for this is because some people want to keep their black roses so that the roses can breed. Holding to watering cans is annoying.)

Added tools:
These are tools that I believe should be added in the game. It would make things real fun and cool.

1. The Flashlight: The flash light would be used at night to see where you were going. Why? Because I would make it so that at night in your town would be real dark. Of course the lighting in the dark is affected by what type of moon is out at night, being full or half a moon. So when there is a new moon, it's almost pitch black and you can use the flashlight to see at night. Also, when friends visit your town, you can play hide and seak. Instanly flashing a light on any person or animal will shock them for a moment and make them turn around to see who it is.
You would than get the Golden flashlight, a flashlight that never runs out of batteries, after preventing the cat burgaler from stealing one valuable item from ANYONE being stolen at night. He comes randomly and ony at night. He's sneaky and also a dog who works with Redd and Lyle.

2. The Camera: The camera would work like it did in Wind waker. It would take black and white picks and you could see someone (Maybe a new NPC) who would develop this pictures so that you could show them off as posters in your home or put them in a photo album that stores up to 200 pics. Than if you do a certain quest for this NPC you get the golden camera, which takes high quality picture in color and can change to black and white. What's the point of that? Well you can save this pictures to an SD card and load them up to your digital camera to show off or put them on you computer or print them out. How cool would that be? Yeah!!!

The terrian of the game is kinda boring. It should be more natural where the ground isn't always flat. Where there is a bump here or there, or this part of the ground is higher than over here. Something realisticish and natural. This would just add to the uniqueness of the town.

The hidden stuff. This is something my brother and I created. We call it the personality/emotion system. This was origanlly thought of for any RPG. But Animal Crossing would greatly need this to make it more injoyable.

In many RPG's, the only way to be known as a bad or good person is picking choices. This is kinda cool, but that's so 2004. What we came up of was, wich that old say sates, "Actions speak louder than words." It's true. When an animal see you or wants help they will talk with you. If you ignore them the might find you to be rude. But when you do talk to the animals, the move ments you do while speaking with them or moving your arm the gestures. Pressing buttons when they want to talk to you can determine the way your character looks and moves. For example, many people press the B button to make the speaker talk faster and make them skip what they are saying. This would cause the animal to stop and say "What sort of rush are you in?" or "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to buy you while you were busy" or "QUIT jittering around and listen to what I have to say!" Now for emotions and expressions. The Wii-mote (that's what I like to call it) has a directional pad on it. At first I thought, hey why not put the tools there where you can equip it like in Zelda, but than I thought some more and came up with, why not put the emotions of expressions there. When speaking to another animal you can press up to laugh when they say a joke or left to get angry when you don't agree with what they had to say or they were being rude to you. And this would make the game know what type of person you are, so that strangers can speak with animals to know what thype of person you are without you knowing it. Kinda creepy, but amazing. This would also effect your luck and how much harder or easier it is to do certian tasks. Also it would raise yor luck or lower it. It would also determine what type of neighbor you would have. Unique animals with great personalitys or the average animals that don't spruce up your life.

The player, the players body should be more porportional to the head. Where the head is no loner a gaint melon. Or where you no longer look like Charlie Brown. The reason? More clothes, like pants and shoes and different clothes. There sould be REAL jackets and long sleeve shirts. Or white under shirts.
You can remove all clothing that only a boxer (for males) shorts and a sporst braw for females are left. What you wear during the year affects how you look and if you get sick or not. YES, getting sick would be added. This would make your charactaers performance slower or faster. If you eat, you can gain stanima. But eating too much can make yo bigger around the belly and slugish as well. So be wise on what you do. A cold would slow you down and it would be best to stay home and lay down.

Game mechanics, I would not let the game be affected by the Nintendo weahter. Animal Crossing would have it's own in game wheather. But you can choose the type of land your heading out to. Where who ever asks you those questions in the beginning. For example " I hear that it's cold year round. Or am I all wrong?" If you say yes, it will snow in you village very heavily. Where you would have to use yor shovel to make paths. Now if you said no, you had a choice of it's 'cold during winter but hot during summer' or 'It's kind warm year round to tell you the truth."
Than he or she will say "Wow. It's raining hard here, do you think it rains much there?" The choices would probally be " Oh. I love the rain." "Hope not, the rain saddnes me" "I don't think it rains too much there" and other similar questions that would determine the town you get.

Sorry... I don't really agree with any of these areas of improvements...

I like the terrain and graphics just as they are.

Animal Crossing utilizes an art form called "Naivety," which is intentionally childish.
If it changed... it just wouldn't be the same at all...

About the gold items, though, those seem like okay improvements.

I think it would be cool if you could customize your town. Like you could click on the museum and drag it to where you want it. I also wish if you dropped furniture outside your house that it would come to life.

Like the last post, you could probably have lawn furniture! And maybe a backyard? With a fence around it like how there is a white fence around the whole house. I like the flahlight thing. and the dakness part. the terrain a cool idea, but that would make it a little boring.

I like the idea of different camera angles...it would be easier to find stuff when the trees are in the way. But, the graphics should stay the same, it is cute and simple. It wouldn't have the same AC charm if the graphics were all realistic.
