Otashii yawned as he rolled onto his side, slightly away from the warmth of his family. Bright eyes stared off at nothing and a low whine escaped his maw. He wasn't tired, he shouldn't be sleeping. He rolled to his small paws and stretched, glancing to the other sleeping forms before moving away into the woods. His ears were perked and his eyes wide, slightly nervous going off on his own. But he was also curious about the world, and he'd never been around him home during the night hours. He wouldn't stray far from the safety of his family's den though.
It wasn't long before he'd turned around many trees and slipped past countless bushes before he started to realize everything was looking the same. He slowed down and finally stopped, turning in a full circle. "Ooooh.." He moaned out quietly, eyes shutting and head shaking. "This can not happen!" He muttered softly to himself before peaking one eye open again, head snapping to the left at a sudden snap! He yipped and scuttered backwards, backing into a bush and crawling under it. But a rabbit was the only thing that caused the disturbance, and raced away from the pup.
"That's all?" He said, surprised and disappointed... but also releaved. He came back into the open, ears perking slightly as he listened to the wind howl through the trees. He looked up, calm slowly pooring into him as he stared at the round globe of light in the sky, forever suspended there. A full moon, his mother had told him. He didn't really know what that meant though... did it mean sometimes the moon was empty?

The night had been chilled, long...quiet. Occasioanlly the wind would pick up and howl through the trees like the echo'es of ghost wolves, yet that was just a fairy tale. Wandering the nights had become a routine for Bindi, becoming quite familliar with the forsts and their inhabitants. This was her life untill she could find a burrow to sleep in, not feeling comfortable at all sleeping out in the forest by herself; probably why she looked sleep deprived and ratted. Oh how she longed to just curl up and allow sleep to succumb her with memories of the warmth she felt with her parents there to protect her. Dreams were dreams though, not reality.
Yawning as her eyes clamped shut, Bindi shook her blonde head before looking sleeply down the small trail she followed. Winding through the trees as the moonlight filtered through the canopy of leaves above to splatter onto the ground; she felt at peace. Glancing up as she passed under an open section in the trees, she took in the sight of the beautiful sphere with a happy sigh. Dawn would approach soon, the time of day which she truly lived for.
Stepping into the open, a scent wafted to her nose which caused the sinshine femme to stop in her tracks and scan the area. Sure enough, a young male stood with his muzzle lifted to the heavens, seemingly deep in thought. Clearing her throat slightly, she debated moving on...yet someone her own age didn't seem like too much of a threat, and perhaps talking with him would take her mind off of her shivering little body. So, taking a breath, she paded over softly, her bright blue eyes tired but kind. "The moon is beautiful this time of night...isn't it?" She commented softly, her voice quiet as she turned her gaze skywards as well.

His right ear flicked and his faze snapped away from the heavens. This made him a bit dizzy, the trees and eath flooding so quickly back into his vision, but after a minute he foccused on the butter yellow pup and relaxed. She didn't seem to phase him.
He nodded and smiled invitingly to her. "Mm, bright." He stated slowly. "Like your fur! I'm O~Ta~shii." He liked pronouncing his name extracarefully, plus it was more fun saying it like that.

Cocking her head to the side as the young male snapped his head to look at her, the sunny pup placed a bright smile on her maw. It was nice to meet more pups for once, rather than adults - even if their company was nice it wasn't the same. Upon seeing his welcoming smile, she took the extra few steps to drop about a foot away onto her haunches, her tail thudding against the ground lightly.
"Thank you!" She beamed, pleased he was kind. "Otashii? What a fun name! My name is Bindi..." Her soft vocals breathed out, a warm look oversetting her features. Glancing about with her cerulean orbs, it seemed he was quite alone out her as she was...did he too not have a family? "I hope you don't mind my asking...yet what are you doing out here?"

"Bin~di." He repeated and winked playfully with a small chuckle. Breaking up the slylables made names so much more fun. His tail swept back and cross against the ground slowly and after a minute his gaze moved away from her and back to the sky.
"I'm watching the sky, silly!" He looked confused as he glanced at her again. Wasn't it easy to tell that? Oh well! "I couldn't sleep." He smiled softly. "So I didn't want to wake anyone up.. so I cam here!"

Placing a pleasant smile on her lips as he seemed to enjoy breaking up names, she didn't see the point, yet it sounded kinda neat when said as such. "Its nice to meet you O-ta-shii" She mused, pleased to hear such a fun sounding name broken up on her own tongue. Oh what the things you can learn from others!
Lifting her body off the ground, she trotted untill she dropped her rump beside him and cast her own head up to the skies above. "D'ya see anything interesting up there?" She commented, only seeing the bright glimmer of stars above - perhaps there was other things too? "Ohhhhhhh" She breathed before continuing, "Well that was nice, I'm pretty restless too in my sleep....there's just so much to see and do! Why watse it sleepin'?" Bindi chuckled, surely her mother would have scolded her for not sleeping as much as she was supposed to - if she was around that is.
