I'm attempting to help my old High School find a play to do next year and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions? It would have to be pretty low key, and have a small male, large female cast. I really want them to do A Doll's House, but I don't think that it will be enjoyable for anyone except myself and my old English Teacher.

For the LOVE of GOD don't do "A Dolls House!" It might be a great play on paper, but it's nightmare to have to put up with for a long period of time. Trust me. I loved it until I had to work on it.
I'm not familiar with to many plays, but what about "The Crucible?" That was one of my favorite plays that I read in my Honors English class in high school.

Ah I loved the Crucible. I was Mary Warren... in class... I really wanted that to be our play but a neighboring school got it first. That one has a lot of girls.. lots of extras.
