When you mix oranges, yellow-oranges, and yellows
with white, you get pretty good skin colors. This is kind
of complicated using Prismacolor pencils, because of the
soft lead. You go through white like crazy. I was wondering
if you color over the oranges and yellows with a white
Copic or Prismacolor marker, would it blend and make a
skin color or do I have to constantly use pencils? I don't have
either kind or marker, and I'm not going to spend money
on something that I don't know will work. Also another
question if this isn't possible. What colors in the Prismacolor
pencils 42 ct. set mix well with Light Peach for the skin?
Please use the real names for the Prismacolor pencils.
Don't just use words that describe the color please.

Try using your pencils so that you only use them very lightly, and let the white of the paper show through instead of using a white pencil, otherwise you could try something like white charcoal pencils, white conte or even white chalk pastels to help get the colour you need because all three of these generally turn up brighter then a white pencil.

White charcoal is very dominant. Well, the
white charcoal that I have is. Its China White.
I wouldn't use oranges and yellows if I knew
how to mix Light Peach with other colors. The
only color I see that mixes well is
Peach blending to Light Peach = good shading
Spainish Orange blending to Light Peach = alright shading
Orange blending to Yellow-Orange blending to Yellow = good shading
Those are the only ways I know how to blend pencils.
I can blend paints better, but I don't have time to
paint all of my art. And white isn't a strong color
in acrillic paints either. I would be using up white
paint more than white pencils.
