Indu, don't you have enough D-corp children? No, I don't. Haha. While I'm grateful for the ones I do have, only Tyven was my own brainchild. This boy, or the concept, not the animal, has been sitting in the back of my brain for a long time. I just wish I had the cash. Rawr. I also want to get a d-corp child for each of the teachers. Turner has Ai'shern, but Brooklyn would get Cairo. Yaye!

Name: Cairo-Deane Jetter [Instrument of Truth] Gender: Sequential Hermaphrodite [Gender-swapper] Animal: Orange Skunk Clownfish
Hairstyle: A natural mohawk, sort of longish. [Will check with Nozomi, since I only just realized that TEEU will have a mohawk as well. Cairo's represents the white stripe that clownfish have... xD] Hair Color: White. [Both hair and eyebrows?] Skin Color: Varying shades of orange, with black feet, calves, forearms and hands. Skin Type: Clearly has sparkly fishscales in several places, like the shoulders/collarbone/neck [where the gills are located], cheekbones, ribs, etc. Fins: Should be more rigid, rather than flimsy like Jewel's. Are Black, and should be on the back of either calf, side of both forearms, and along Cairo's lowerback, in the very center of the stripe. Clothing: Black short-shorts with a bright-blue belt and bright-blue suspenders. Markings: There should be a thin white stripe[the width of nose] that runs from the upperlip, to nose, to forehead, to the white mohawk, and down the neck, [it should get wider when it gets to Cairo's back] and back, to, well, the buttcrack. xD; Orange fingernails! Eye color: Bright-blue Eye style: Big and girly. Talk about lashes. xD Personality: Very curious, adventurous, trouble-some, and a brawler. Like most clownfish, Cairo'll be horribly aggressive and competitive toward all except loved ones. Pose: Have Cairo standing, and flexing both biceps with a big grin.. xDDD Extra: As prettily androgynous as possible. :B Abilities:Sting Immunity, Gender-Swapping, Underwater Breathing

 Scientific Name: Amphiprion sandaracinos
Clownfish are native to wide ranges of the warm waters of the Pacific; some species ranges overlap others. Clownfish are not found in the Atlantic Ocean. Clownfish live in a mutual relationship with sea anemones, or in some case settle in some varieties of soft corals, or large polyp stony corals. Once an anemone or coral has been adopted, the clownfish will defend it.
Clownfish and damselfish are the only species of fish which can avoid the potent stings of an anemone. There are several theories for how this avoidance is accomplished. Firstly, the slime coating of the fish may be based on sugar rather than proteins so anemones fail to recognize the fish as food and do not fire their nematocysts, or sting organelles.
Secondly, the mucous coating may mimic the anemone's own coating, a theory that is bolstered by the fact that it takes several days for a clownfish to adapt to a new species of anemone. There is no adaptation period when a clownfish is moved to another anemone of the same species.
Thirdly, their unique movements, which are unlike any other fish, may let the anemone know that they are not food. This theory is bolstered by the fact that juvenile clownfish, which have no coating, will immediately seek refuge in any compatible anemone and will not be stung. Juvenile clownfish will not survive for long without the protection of an anemone, and few find one before being eaten.
Identification: Bright orange in color; unlike A. perideraion, this clownfish and the similar Amphiprion akallopisos species has no vertical white headband present; has a somewhat bold white stripe that runs from the snout upwards between the eyes, continuing along both sides of the dorsal fin, ending at the upper part of the tail fin. Usually has black fins, sometimes can be found orange.
Distribution: Western-Pacific region.
Maximum Size: To 5 1/2 inches.
Abilities: Unable to be stung by sea anenomes and other sea creatures, can swap genders at will without affecting basic DNA.
Characteristics & Compatibility: Does best if kept in pairs with a host anemone. Can be rather aggressive towards closely related, as well as similar species as noted above. Not unusual for wild-collected specimens to be prone to Brooklynellosis, or what is referred to as Clownfish Disease.
Diet & Feeding: An omnivore. Should be fed a varied diet of meaty crustacean fares, such as finely chopped frozen or fresh table shrimp, fresh brine and mysid shrimp, as well as suitable herbivore preparations.
