Dante parked his HC next to the mechanic shop that belonged to his friend. It was february and that meant that all the couples and everything was getting all mushy again. Sadly he had never known love other than the one for Zoids. That was his love, fixing them, seeing how they work and his Aeris. But he couldn't help but feel the small tang for a woman to hold and be with to share his days, victorys and losses.
Which meant one thing to do, go to the bar and drink, so after he caught up with his friend he took a walk. He got directions to the closest bar and began his journy there for a nice stiff drink and relax a little bit hopefully forgetting about the small pain he felt.

Skye grumbled to herself as she plodded along the sidewalk of the city. The normally cheerful gal was being hit by the loveless blues, and this being the month of 'love' really wasn't helping her mood.
"Stupid Valentine's day...stupid...gah...stupidness" she growled, so ticked she couldn't find much to blame her anger on other than the day of doom, St. Valintine's day.
The day was sort of a double edged blade for the girl. She used to love it, because her entire family would go out and have fun, no matter how much her and her sibling pleaded their parents to have some time to themselves, but they always responded that the day was a day of love, and there was no greater love then family.
And now, here she was, without a mother or father, and unknowingly without a brother to share the day with. Stupid day...stupid...
Skye wiped away a lone tear that had snuck out when she was remembering her parents. She sighed. She needed something to drink, be it alchololic or not...just something to do to bide her time...

Dante proceeded down the sidewalk towards the bar but stopped and took his hat off running his hand through his hair. He looked up into the sky trying to think of what it would be like to have a girl in his life. The only woman he ever had was his mom, as he was the only child and was too busy at the shop to pay much attention to women. Yes he had been with them, but never a relationship, never something meaningful. Maybe he was missing out on something, everyone seemed so happy with their loves. But it was hard to miss something you didn't know, though he did envy them for their happiness, he needed more company thats for sure.
He put his hat back on and looked around, he needed something to take his mind off it. Alcohol and darts or pool seemed like a good way to do that. So he continued his walk towards the bar looking around for anything or anyone interesting.

A creak came from a shoulder as Ringen pushed himself up from where he'd fallen asleep in his Gun Wolf. How was it that he'd blinked and it was Valentines Day? Sure... Ringen was fairly laid back most of the time and ignored all the losses that he'd dealt with in his life to help Yuena with all of HER problems but...
Running a hand over his face with a sad sigh, the twenty year old zoid pilot gave himelf the briefest of moments to reflect on the loss of his love and his son. Maybe it was just that he couldn't get over it, but how did you get over something like that really? How did you get over losing the two people that meant the most to you in the world?
A noise from the Gun Wolf made him lift his eyes to look out the screen with a grunt. The Love Liger was standing before his wolf and Yuena was sitting out on it's nose like she belonged there. It was her way of telling him to get out and come on because she was hungry and wired. They'd simply parked at a town and gone to sleep since it had been WELL after midnight.
Sighing and flicking a button so the hatch slid back, Ringen stood up and stretched his aching body slowly, glancing at Yuena who simply slid down her Liger's leg to the ground like a feather. Maybe he should go drink away his sorrows?
Green eyes watched as Ringen slowly climbed down from his Gun Wolf and Yuena patted Pinky's leg with her dainty hand faintly. She knew that Ringen wasn't in a good mood, he never was around this time of the year even though she'd only known him for little over one year herself now. This time last year he'd been... sluggish and had gone and gotten drunk on purpose.
Ringen never drank.
When the other came over to her she grabbed ahold of his hand, if he wanted to drink the least Yuena figured she could do was take him to go and get him stone drunk. So the tiny little white and red haired girl drug the muttering Ringen through the town with a bright and innocent flash to the bar that was slowly appearing in the distance.
Her booted feet clunked up the steps, the other man stumbling behind her as she drug him forcibly up them and he nearly wound up on his face, yelling her name angrilly as she pulled him through the door and into the bar itself.

Dante cruised down and walked into the bar, something seemed familiar here even though this was his first time there. He walked through the bar doors looking around for a place to sit, noticing that there was two people there very familiar to him. So he walked over towards them and pulled up a seat sitting down next to them. Seeing what they would do or how they would react, as he ordered a beer and a shot. He also ordered one for Ringen who seemed the one that needed it the most. Yuena was too young to drink anyways so he just ordered her a soda as he watched and waited for their reactions.

Yuena floated up from her seat and wrapped her arms around Dante's neck with a giggle of welcome since she hadn't seen him for the longest time. It seemed like just the other day they had ben talking in a bar just like this and then so much time passed, so many things happened. It was all a blur to her. Granted that's all her life and past were at all anymore, a blur.
"Dante! How have you been?" Yuena asked brightly, Taking two steps up from the seat to the back of the chair and planting herself on Dante's head. It was probably a good thing she weighed so little, she could sit atop Dante's head with ease and not really hurt him... or so she thought.
The waiter simply handed her the soda that Dante had ordered for her, staring at her from where she was perched on the other's head with a beaming grin. It was easy for her to throw others off. If it wasn't her appearence it was some of the things that she did, in fact the only ones that didn't really freak out by some of the things she did were Ringen and Dante. Everyone else stared at her strangely.
Lifting his eyes from his crossed arms, Ringen nodded to Dante without a word, gratefully accepting the shot and taking it down without even a second's hesitation. Of course it dawned on him that they hadn't seen Dante in a long time... it always HAD dawned on him... but he didn't care right now.

Sky pushed the door open to the bar and walked inside, quickly eying Dante and Ringen. What where they doing here? She laughed to herself then. They were probably here for the same reason she was here, but she dared not go up and ask them. Ringen seemed, well, like he didn't want to talk, so instead she apted to sit a seat away from Dante as to give him his space. After all she really only met him once...and got her butt handed to her by him.

Dante smiled as he returned the hug and she went up on his head. That didn't even bother him really, moving around Zoid parts all day made him rather strong. "I have been good, just a little sad wondering about how life would be with a girl to share it with. Normal stuff for a day like today." He put his hand on Ringen's shoulder and smiled sincerely at him. "Cheer up bro, everything works out in the end."
He downed his drink as the girl took a seat near him and he turned to look at who sat down enxt to him. She was familiar, he had met her before but he turned away to think about it for a second. Where did he know her from? She was familiar but not very familiar. He ordered up another beer as he thought about it and then it dawned on him. She was one of his opponents a while back, So he turned back to look at Scye and smiled, "I know you, we fought a long time ago didn't we? Its good to see you again, hows the Zoid doing?" He reached up and pet Yuena's leg showing he cared slightly but it was an absentminded move.

"Ringen's been pouting about too, not really sure what the whole day is about and why it's so bad but... it seems like any other day to me." Yuena said, crossing her legs so that she could hook her ankles at the edge of the chair's back. She was comfortable up on top of him, though it was rare to find her comfortable anywhere other than in Pinky.
Though there was a reason for that. "Well, did you know that Pinky's been acting up a little bit recently?" She said, inspecting one of her green painted fingernails as she took a sip of her soda. The pat on the side of her leg made he glance down for a moment and quirk her silver eyebrows for a bit. "You wanna take a look at it? Could just be the time of year but I dunno. And Ringen isn't exactly clear on what it is."
It was a ploy, her mind didn't exactly get the concept of feelings and likes just yet, but she understood instinct and instinct had always lead the small white and red headed girl in the past. So why not now?
Lifting eyes to glance at Sky, Ringen nodded and let a strained smile slip over his tainned face. Of course she sat far away from him, he didn't exactly mind it at all, everyone sat away from him on this day.
"I don't know about that... But I'll give it a few more years to settle itself out." Ringen said softly, in a way that wasn't exactly like him at all.

Orion's voice carried gently outward from his seat in the Hybrid Liger's cockpit as he sung along to the tune being played through his headphones. His blue eyes closed, his hands behind his head, his feet crossed over the console, he hummed the remainder of the song... before yanking his headset off by the cord, tossing it and the attached mp3 player over his shoulder and into the small space behind the pilot's seat.
His eyes flashed open.
"Pretty song... it's a pity it's not actually about anyone..."
Yes, the V-Day blues were hitting Rion as hard as anyone, but besides a nagging urge to play a guitar ballad on a city rooftop in the rain, there wasn't much of anything he felt like doing about them. Sure, he didn't have anyone to spend his Valentine's Day with, but being on the run for four years sort of sets one into the "lonely hero" mode. Besides, his female options pretty much boiled down to his teammates. Eli was taken, and Lauren... Ha. No.
So, of course, he did the one thing that comes naturally to a roleplay character with nothing better to do: he decided to go to a bar. Fourth wall-breaking aside, loneliness was hard work, and Rion needed a drink.
A few minutes later, he was hopping up the steps into the bar. Tossing himself into a barstool at the counter, he wasted no time getting the attention of the bartender.
"Hey! Slappy! I'll have a straight shot of bourbon and a cold one from the tap... at least until I think of something crazier I can drink."

Dante was going to tilt his head but decided not to with Yuena on his head. "Something's wrong with her? Well I can take a look at it sure, but do you want me to look at it right now?" He poked Yuena's thigh as he asked the question. He set and hand on Ringen's shoulder, "I don't know why your sad though dude. But it will be ok and we will find ladies and take out minds off this day. In response to your question Yuena, this is Valentines day where all the couples get mushy and do things together. And people who are single and have no one in their life tend to be a little bit sad this day and wish they had someone."
He noddeed the best he could but that wasn't very well. He turned and noticed the new guy that entered the bar but he had never seen him before so he didn't care too much. He returned his attention to Ringen, Yuena and Skye.

"I bet Ringen busted him, probably did with how HE tends to bust around with our Zoids." Yuena said in her normal bubbly voice. Her eyes drifted over to the new man that had just walked into the bar. He had a bounce in his step that drew the young girl's eyes straight to him instantly and held them there. Was it that incredible?
Probably not.
"Well.... I still don't see what the big deal is. I know he lost something, but it was a while ago right?" Her eyes flashed to Ringen and watched him flinch so she decided instantly to hold her tongue for a bit on the subject of love. It wasn't as if she knew anything on the matter after all. Her memories didn't betray any past that held a love, so she had no real clue if she did or not. "You... you don't have to if you don't want to look at Pinky, it's no big deal."
The small girl bounced down off of her perch on his head and danced over to her own chair silently, glancing down at her glass of soda as if it would tell her the secrets of her past before she took a deep drink and swallowed all the secrets the soda could possibly have relayed.
His brown eyes lifted up to Dante for a moment and a crooked grin crossed Ringen's face. He didn't want to tell the other about his past, but he certainly didn't want to go out and pick up a woman on such a.... tender.... day. It made him want to bash his fist into his own face for not telling anyone, not even Yuena, so then maybe her words wouldn't sting so when she didn't know what she was talking about.
"I don't really... need to pick up some chicks today... is all." He laughed a little sheepishly and nodded his head. "It would just bring back some memories... is all."
He glanced down at his beer and laughed weakly. "Maybe another time?"

Dante shrugged, well if no girls then work it was. "Ok pal I will be right back I am going to go check Pinky out see what kind of damage you've done and Ill be back as soon as I can." He punched Ringen's arm showing that he was just messing and set his hand on his back. "No worries pal its all good you have good friends now." He smiled looking over at Yuena, "Ok small fry, lets go take a look at her and figure out whats wrong."
He looked back at everyone as he finished his beer and set it down with some money. He looked at Skye and smiled, he would be back to talk with her later and maybe she got stronger and he could battle her again. He walked over to Yuena and held out his hand to help her up so they could go see Pinky.

Ringen gestured for him to get going to look at Pinky wordlessly. It was all he needed was someone goading how he worked but then he knew that Dante was only kidding. And for some reason Yuena was lying, because her Blade Liger had been running better than he'd ever seen it run before to be quite honest. He'd been checking on it for weeks.
"Well yeah... friends can help. Now get outta here." Ringen took another swig of his beer and sighed, putting his heads back on his forearms once more.
"Hey I'm not a small fry." Yuena said with a laugh, floating about behind him in an almost skipping manner. Why she was as light on her toes as she was had always been beyond just about everyone but all the same she did.
Waving goodbye to Ringen and Skye both, she floated out the door and twirled around to look at Dante. The red streaks in her hair seemed to meld with the snow white of the rest of it for a moment before she turned and made a gesture for him to follow her, zipping off towards Pinky.
So she had lied, she was just glad that Ringen hadn't really said anything.

Dante smiled watching her hair flip around and looked her over as she skipped and bounced in front of him. He was almost staring there and he shook his head to try to get those thoughts out of his head. She was his age though slightly younger by the look, she was much younger in maturity. But that was cute and part of her charm, but no he couldn't think about her like that...could he? He didn't know but he needed to concentrate on Pinky first and not her. But he did follow her and snuck peeks at her overall body. "So what is wrong? What is Pinky doing? Like is something specifically wrong with him?"
