I have this obnoxious ability to memorize lyrics when I'm not trying to, so it happens constantly. Any song at any time, and jingles or theme songs are the worst.

'Ear worm'? I thought you were talking about an actual parasite that gets into the ear. xd
Anyway, yeah, that happens to me a lot. I frequently find myself humming songs in my head. Though, it's also sometimes weird when I have a song stuck in my head that I don't remember hearing before.

Lately I've had any of the Street Dogs songs off their first album stuck in my head but I blame that on the fact that I am going to their concert (with Flogging Molly) at the end of the month...^_^
THough the worst I have ever had it was my Junior year of highschool and I was really in to Sailor Moon, and I had the German theme song stuck in my head for like a month...it freaked out my bio II teacher a lot...mostly because I sat right nexted to the projecter where she stood and she could hear me singing it to myself.

*does the Time Warp* xd
Muppet songs are the worst, for me... They get into my head and stay there permanently. If I'm with my sister, either one of us could randomly start singing "Mahna Mahna", the other one will take the "Do do do do do" part and we'll be singing the damn thing for as long as we can keep it up. The Batty Bat song is almost worst, because the chorus is just "Batty" repeated over and over again, so it drives my man crazy, but I just can't get it out of there...
But then, my man gets back at me by singing Gwen Steffani. Unfortunately, the only line he knows is "This s**t is bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S." So he'll sing that over and over again until we've both gone thoroughly insane.

Interesting you should say that -my current ear worm (and there is ALWAYS something) is "Love Today" by Mika. I must admit, I do like the song, but my brain would like a rest!!! Another one I've been getting regularly lately (and is EXTREMELY inconvenient and inappropriate for pretty much every situation) is "Bitches Ain't s**t" by Ben Folds. I just get the first line of the chorus stuck in there, and anyone who knows that song will understand what I'm talking about...

The same thing happens to me, if I get a song stuck in my head it can't be something that I can sing aloud, no- It has to be something else. Either that or some obscure annoying song that is not in English, therefore I cannot sing it very well. Recently, I've had songs from the old Playstation game Parappa he Rapper stuck in my head- epescially The flea market level (level 3) and the driving level (level 2) I've also had the firefighting song (lvl 2) stuck in my head from UmJammer Lammy since I've recently played both games. If I was to sing any of the the songs that usually get stuck in my head out loud in a public place I'm sure people would take a few steps back. =P
