K, so first I'm reeeealy sorry if this has already been addressed, forgive me, I haven't been around here in a long time...

I'm not Buddhist, but I like the religion a lot, and am curious about it.
So while I run around various sites I notice there is method upon method for correct meditiation. I've seen things ranging from one side of the spiritual world to the other.

And I wonder, which one is the right one?
So please, let's talk about meditiation in all it's various forms.
As an (insert sect here) or as a general Buddhist, what do you do to meditate?

As do I. There is no right or wrong way to meditate, because right and wrong don't exist.

Pretty much all Zen Buddhists do is meditate. There's some chanting involved, but meditation is the meat and potatoes of Zen, that and koans.

I dout their is a wrong way to do it. But the basic thing that i was always learned way to focus the mind of one thing. It can be the steps you take, or a candel flame. Though most often its your breath. And you just focus on it, till your mind is actualy living in the moment.
