Dream Theater is joining Roadrunner Records. Which i say is a plus. Some of my Fav. bands are with R&R. What do others think

As I said on the metal sub-forum, if Roadrunner ruins their music, I'm burning the label to the ground. Otherwise, I have no problem with it. And it makes a Dream Theater/Opeth/Porcupine Tree tour more likely.

Never heard of Porcupine Tree, but DT/Opeth would be amazing!

Porcupine Tree is a really good progressive rock band. You should check them out if you can. 3nodding

I feel with the long standing and incredibly successful career that Dream Theater holds, no label will make a difference... I say. I know they will not soon forget their fans and the devotion that we all have for their incredible music will drive them even further into success.

Maybe they've realised that in recent times. They've gotten Opeth, Porcupine Tree, and now Dream Theater. Now that I look at their band page, they have Megadeth and Nightwish, who I don't remember being signed to RR. Could just be my memory though. sweatdrop
It'll be interesting to see who they get next, and if they mess it up...

King Diamond's newest was good, you be quiet. :X

And he's on Metal Blade now, by the way. He USED to be on Roadrunner.

Type O Negative is still on Roadrunner, I believe.

I'm gonna have to respectfully agree to disagree with you (he hardly even sings....Im referring to the song, not the album)
But I didn't realize he had changed, thank you for telling me. heart
