"When am I going to be an Aunt?" Laugh-A-Lot asked with curiousity as she watched Reira prepare cocoa and tea.
"I'm not sure..." Reira replied, handing the mug of hot chocolate to the CarePae. "I think it'll be soon, though... Be careful, that's hot." At this point, Reira's tummy was bulging very noticeably. So much so, in fact, that it was obvious that there was more than one little Pae in there. She flinched in response to a kick and took a sip of her tea. "I think we'll have company today, though." She smiled and looked out the window.

((I'm going to be gone to my cousin's for the weekend (Fri-Sun) so I wont' be able to reply back until I get back. Sorry and thanks.
Do we want them to move in together at some point? Just wondering. biggrin ))
Tiki Jim knocked at the door. He was hoping to see more of Reira now that she was getting bigger. Not that he didn't want to see her before or after either. He just wanted to be with her as much as he could.

((I was planning on having her ask him, actually. ^^; Personally, I think so. They'll make a cute little family all together. whee ))
Reira jumped a bit at the knocking; she must've just missed seeing Tiki Jim when she looked out the window. "Coming!" she called out with a knowing smile to Laugh-A-Lot. She made her way to the door with as much haste as she could muster, opened it, and greeted Tiki Jim with a warm "Good morning," and a kiss. "Here, come on in," she instructed, closing the door again behind him. She flinched as she felt a kick in her belly and laughed lightly. "Someone in here says hello, too! Want to feel?"
Laugh-A-Lot greeted with her own "Hiii Tiji!!" and a running start to a hug. She tended to not question things, and had already accepted that he was one of the family. When Reira asked if he wanted to feel the kicking in her tummy, Laugh-A-Lot took it as an open invitation and ran over, placing her hand on her big sister's rounded stomach with a giggle. She was always trying to feel her little niece or nephew kicking, and Reira never refused, even when Laugh-A-Lot knew it wasn't convenient.

((Yeah, me too. biggrin ))
Tiki Jim smiled. He huggled the little care pae before also putting his hand on Reira's belly. He too could feel kicking. "Wow that is aweseome. Don't you think, Laughs?" He winked down at the care pae.

"I think they want out..." Reira giggled. She knew it wouldn't be long now until the little babies were born. "Or maybe they're just happy to hear your voice. You're not here nearly enough..." Of course, 'enough' to Reira would be all the time, so that they could talk about names, or where to keep these babies, or all of the other details that nagged in the corner of her mind.
Still, the whole mother thing was growing on her; she enjoyed the attention her rounded stomach brought her and the pride she felt knowing that they'd be her little children, and Tiki Jim was the father, and that they'd all be a nice little family. The details of everything weren't too important to her right now.
"Mmhmm!" Laugh-A-Lot replied with a nod. "Awesome!" She returned to her mug of hot chocolate and blew on it to cool it off. "Do you want something to drink, too?" she asked Tiki Jim before taking a sip.

"Well, maybe we should do something about that?" Tiki Jim asked Reira. Now he knew, even if his parents would be fine with it, he'd either need to move into her house or they needed to get a bigger one. He didn't want to stray too far from the beach, but he would go wherever Reira wanted.
"Oh, sure. What are you offereing?" Tiki Jim asked Laughs-a-lot with a warm smile.

"You know you're welcome to stay here..." Reira commented warmly. "But it is rather small. Not much we can do about that now, though." She glanced around, trying to figure out how to fit a family in the cramped space.
"Well, I'm having hot chocolate, and I think Reira was fixing tea..." Laugh-A-Lot began. "I'm not sure what else we have."

"I wonder if we can build on this place or make a bigger place. You know for the kids." Tiki Jim smiled and did blush a little as she asked him to stay. He, of course, wanted to.
"I have hot chocolate as well. It sounds awesome." He patted Laughs-a-Lot on the head.

"I'm sure we could... We can make it work for now, though." Reira smiled; she guessed this meant he'd stay. "The kids..." she repeated, with a blush of her own and a giggle. "We haven't even thought of names yet!"
"Coming right up!" Laugh-A-Lot replied, half-jumping and half-floating up to the counter to make the hot chocolate. When she was done, she presented it with a proud "Ta-da!"

Tiki Jim smiled. "Yeah, I think we can do it." He walked over to the couch. "Names? No we havent'. Though, we don't know how many or the genders. It might be hard. Still, got any ideas?" He looked down at Laughs-a-Lot and took the drink. "Thanks!"

"That's true." Reira had a lot of free time lately with not much to do, so she'd thought, and read books, and done everything that she could to inspire wonderful names. She had come up with one name in particular that she liked. "For a boy, I like Aeolian..." she said thoughtfully. "I haven't come up with anything else, though. What about you?"
Laugh-A-Lot nodded with a content, "You're welcome!" before taking her mug with her and grabbing a book. "I'm going outside," she declared. "I know, I know... Stay close, don't go in the water, don't wander in the forest..."
((Aeolian: Not a conventional name... The closest I could find is Iolani, which is Hawaiian and female, and means to fly like a hawk... Aeolian has many meanings, generally leading to being related to the wind, also, it is a musical reference. I personally like it a lot, and it seems like something Reira might pick out. 3nodding Took me a few days to find... ^^; *too picky* ))

((I'm not really sure yet. I want to go with my Hula Bob two name trend, but it's become too many. Maybe Waikiki Kiki.))
Tiki Jim thought about it for a moment. "That's a fun name. I still am not sure if I have one. I need to see the baby I think. Maybe then it will come to me and be awesome!" He smiled.

((xD! That's cute. I like it! *does the babies today dance* I don't know how briefly is proper for RPing bring these dears into the world... ^^; ))
Reira smiled, glad that he'd liked the name. She saw his point, though; maybe names would come easier once the babies were born. "Then I guess we'll wait and see! Of course, I want my babies' names to be awesome!" She laughed lightly.

((Well, I like to say the mom's in pain and then fade to after with the babies being in blankets.))
Tiki Jim chuckled. "Yeah, aweseome is always the way to go." He smiled at her and then put his hand on her belly again. It was a nice feeling. Tiki JIm took a swig of the hot coco the care pae had given him.

((Good plan. ^^; Do we want to try to match names more since they're identical twins? ))
Reira laughed and nodded, not minding at all when Tiki Jim's hand returned to her belly. After a moment, though, she flinched away, an uncomfortable expression on her face. "It hurts..." She whimpered. For a second, she worried about the safety of the babies, and then remembered what she'd heard about painful births. "I think our children might be ready to be awesome outside of my belly," she commented with a slightly painful laugh.
