Alex climbed out of the rubble that used to be his home. One minute he was sleeping peacefully and the next thing he knew there was a huge explosion and the world around him crumbled.
He ran a hand through his blue hair and sighed. "What the hell...?" All around him were crumbled houses and dead bodies.
He walked down the street; gray eyes darting around looking for a sign of life. "Hello? Anyone?" He shouted.

Drakul looked around, shaking from the shock of the explosion still.
He sat on the ground, clutching his knees tightly to his chest, when he heard a voice.
He looked around and saw a blue haired man, walking towards where he was.
"Hey, over here!" He called as he stood up, hoping he would be heard by the strange looking man.

Alex ran towards the voice. He approached the scared looking boy. "Are you okay? What the hell happened?" He asked still looking around the neighborhood.

"How the hell should I know?" He said as he put his hand out.

Yuki heard the explosion and saw the buildings around him fall. The same time the buildings fell his two best friends fell over. He got down on his knees and shook his friend, "Kim? Kim?" He checked her pulse there was none. Then he went to Kim's boyfriend. He was dead too.
Yuki buried his face in his hands and screamed. He was scared. He was in a strange town on vacation. Now he was all alone.

Drakul stood still for a moment, and looked around.
"Did you hear that..?" He asked.
"It sounded like someone screaming..
We've got to find whoever it is, in case they're hurt."

He didn't want Alex to know he was a vampire, because most people were afarid of vampires.
He didn't want to lose the only person he knew right now.
"Yeah, I heard it too..
We should probably go check it out, in case whoever it was is hurt."

Yuki heard the footsteps approaching, but didn't bother to move. He was scared and confused. He started sobbing.

Drakul smiled, laughing softly at his new friend.
He ran after Alex, trying to catch up when he saw him stop, a boy sitting in front of him.
"Hey, is he Okay..?" He said to Alex, a bit concerned.

Drakul sat on the opposite side of him, curious as to who he was, and what had happened to him.
He wondered why he was just sitting in the street, and with no one else.

Yuki looked up at the two people. "T-their dead!" Yuki cried. "One minute we were laughing and talking and the next minute they died."
