The Good News:The Society of Romuel is back. The Bad News:Because the original Society of Romuel Guild Thread has been archived where we can no longer see it, we must depend on the memories of our members, as well as in the information still available in the Roleplaying thread. Anyone who has any original information stored, or can recover some of the old thread information for me, will be in my debt. I particularly would like to recover the sub-order descriptions, as those were some of the hardest parts to write. I'd also like to announce the addition of two more sub-orders: The Templars, headed up by Joseph Severn, and the Hospitalers, headed up by Byaggha.

Byaggha stands straight, and presents her Staff of the Angels. The Hospitalers are at the Society's behest. Here is the order's description as presented to our first enlistment, Moryera: Quote: I managed to start myself off as the first Hospitaler du Mod, and I think we could do with a few more. We're the field medical aid for the CoM Templars, whom Joseph just started today. While the Templars batter our enemies bravely, we provide support with a kinder hand, and stop the flow of invading misinformation with kindness and strength of love. I think I shall rewrite it with better language sometime in the future. At current, our membership includes myself, Moryera and Kyraa. Possibly also Katane, I'm still not entirely clear on if she joined us as historian, or just stayed historian within the SR ranks.

Byaggha, I see a great need for more people such as yourself, so I too shall join your ranks as a Historian.
I've just submitted my request to join the guild. I hope I shall be accepted soon.

Your Slayers stand ready, Superior-General. By the Grace of Mod, we will purify Gaia! By force if necessary! Weston looks around quickly, searching for any who should not have heard that.

Excellent. So there's four of us total then. We shall do our best to bring the Grace of Mod to all. 3nodding

A description of the Templar, if you want it: Where others deal death, obtain information, fight battles and heal wounds, the Templar of the society have a broader mission. It is their goal- their quest- to regain M&R, and all of our rightful lands, in the name of competence and honest, forthright debate. The oath of the Templar: Reason shall be my sword, faith my shield, virtue my armor; none shall stand with evil and prevail, while I yet live.

It doesn't appear to be invite-only, since I just put in my join request.
...I just hope there isn't some sort of initiation that I have to go through...that could be unpleasant... gonk ...

Deep Vermillion Is this version invite-only like the last one was? o_รด No, though if I don't recognize the name of an applicant I'm likely to turn them down or ignore them. Basically, we're still elitist. smile

I heart elitism. Now I just have to refine the character I've been living on Gaia into a workable profile....*sighs and gets to work*

We're going to need profiles? ...well...I suppose if it's the RP wing of our Church...then we'll have to have them...crud, now I have to draw one up too. sweatdrop Does anyone mind giving me the basic outline they should follow?

They're a basic guideline for each sub-order of the Societas. Heap big juju, with fancy words and dire restrictions.
