My violin is very old. It's a bright color. And my bow is pink with pink poka dots. I covered it with tape. whee
I admit, it gets all the attention.
But anyways.
I'm supposed to get a newinsturement.

I either let go of three years of my life.
Or keep playing like I am.
It doesn't sound BAD bad. Just, it could be better.

New violins are always cool.
I wish I could buy a new violin. I've been playing for 10 years, and i'm still using the instrument I had back in 6th grade, and now I'm a freshman in college.
Judge an instrument by the way it sounds not the way it looks. you could still put pink poka dots on your next bow. It probably looks pretty cool.
Oh, and when you're out looking for a new instrument (if you so choose to), make sure the strings are Evah Parazzi strings (all of the strings EXCEPT the E string). For the E string, make sure it's Forte strings. The quality of the strings makes a huge difference in the sound of the instrument.
