Welcome to the caribbean loves. There are 4 ships you can choose from. ~Flying Dutchman ~Black Pearl ~The Interceptor ~Create your own ship.
The Flying Dutchman Armament
Like other ships, the Flying Dutchman is armed with port and starboard cannons. The cannon ports on both sides of the Dutchmans hull are in the shape of faces, with the hole apperaring at the mouth. On the bow however, she mounts a pair of bow chasers, each in the form of a triple-barrelled cannon. Each separate barrel fires individually, but the trio can rotate to present a fresh barrel to fire again in the style of a Gatling gun. The empty barrel can then be reloaded for its next turn. This enables the Flying Dutchman to continually fire at ships it is pursuing. When not in use, the bow chasers are concealed behind two doors carved in the shape of an angry demon's maw.
The Flying Dutchman also has The Kraken Hammer, a massive hammer to summon the mighty Kraken - a powerful beast that crushes and drags ships to their doom. The Kraken can also be summoned by The Black Spot. Any member of Davy Jones' crew can deliver the mark to a victim, but only Jones can remove it. Also, Jones can apparently re-activate a Black Spot that has been removed. One scene shows Jack's Black Spot re-appear on his hand after Jones finds out he's after the Dead Man's Chest, even though Jones is probably quite far away. When a man bears the mark, the Kraken seeks to destroy him and his possessions. The Kraken attacked an unknown ship only because the crew found Jack's hat floating in the water. Often, the survivors of these attacks are offered a choice of prolonged life of servitude to Davy Jones or death.
Captain of the ship - Davy Jones
Davy Jones, the supernatural ruler of the seas, buried the Dead Man's Chest on Isla Cruces. Within the chest is his heart, carved from his body when he was unable to bear the pain of losing his one true love. Jones has since inflicted cruelty and pain onto others, even his crew. Jones is invincible as long as his heart is not destroyed. Anyone possessing the heart controls Jones and the seas. Should Davy Jones die, all those who bartered their souls to join his crew will be freed and restored to human form, including Will's father, "Bootstrap Bill" Turner. It is said that if someone owes Davy Jones their soul, he has the ability to take it by any means. Even a cursed pirate that is undead could lose their soul, but only if there was an agreement.
Like his crew, Davy Jones' body is a mixture of various aquatic flora and fauna features. His head is cephalopod-like and his "beard" is composed of squirming octopus-like tentacles. A prominent sac bulges from under his barnacle-encrusted hat. In addition to his "bearded" face, he breathes through a siphon located on one side of his face. Jones has a crustacean-style claw for his left arm, a long tentacle index finger on his right hand, and the right leg of a crab (resembling a pegleg). He also speaks with a clearly distinguishable Scottish accent.[6] The immortal Jones has supernatural powers; among them are invincibility, command over the legendary sea monster, the Kraken and teleportation (His crew also possesses this ability); In a scene in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, Jack observes Davy Jones through his telescope, but is suddenly face-to-face with him aboard his ship. This ability is also seen when Will Turner boards the half-sunken ship and Jones' crew appears from the masts and deck, as well as Bootstrap Bill Turner appearing to Jack in the locked hold of the Black Pearl. According to the Writer's Commentary, this is a difficult process only done at night.
Jones uses the octopus-like arms of his "beard" to manipulate objects, such as a key (he shows this during a game of Liar's Dice), his hat, (when his ship submerges) and the keys of his vast pipe organ. He plays the organ with his "beard" because one of his hands is a claw. Since his claw consists of only two parts (neither of which can move horizontally), he can only strike one key with that hand. However, his "beard" plays more than 20 keys at once, meaning he can play as about 2-3 other organists at once. The melody Davy Jones plays on his pipe organ is the same as the one played on his locket. It is also his character’s theme, and can be heard throughout the film's score.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Black Pearl
Armament
The Black Pearl is heavily armed, she carries 32 6-pound cannons: 18 on the gun deck and 14 on the upper deck. Its full broadside contains 16 cannonballs and weighs 96 Ibs. (35,8 kg). Strangely, the Pearl does not have any guns neither on the bow nor on the stern which is very unusual for a pirate ship and gives her a grave tactical disadvantage during a chase; the Pearl isn’t able to shoot the ship she chases or to reply her hunter’s fire. Only her high speed negate this handicap partially. In 'Dead Man's Chest' another advantage the Black Pearl has over her enemies is her abiility to hide in the sea at night, if all the ship's lamps are blown out then the ship is no longer visible on the sea thanks to her black hull and sails. This is also seen in 'Curse of the Black Pearl' where she is able to sneak into Port Royal under the cover of darkness, unhindered.
ABout The ship....
The Black Pearl was captained by Jack Sparrow for two years. The crew was heading to the mysterious Isla de Muerta where the legendary Chest of Cortez was hidden. Captain and crew agreed to equal shares of the treasure, but First Mate Hector Barbossa persuaded Jack that equal shares included knowing the treasure's location. Jack complied, and soon after Barbossa led a mutiny and marooned Jack on an island.
The crew found the Aztec gold, which they quickly frittered away on food, drink and prostitutes. However, unaware the treasure was cursed, anyone who stole the coins turned into undead beings, unable to feel pleasure but suffering pain. Moonlight revealed the cursed pirate's true form—hideous skeletons with tattered flesh clinging to bones. Even the Pearl was affected as the ship became constantly shrouded in an eerie mist, although the ship itself was not cursed, this was merely the effect of the curse upon the ship's crew. After the curse is lifted, the mist disappeared and it is not seen neither at the end of The Curse of the Black Pearl nor in Dead Man's Chest. (This mysterious effect was created by two barges carrying large fog machines following the ship.)
The curse could only be lifted when every coin was returned to the chest along with a trace of blood from each pirate who stole one. "Bootstrap Bill" Turner, the only crew member who defended Jack during the mutiny, sent a coin to his young son Will Turner, believing the crew deserved to remain cursed. Barbossa had Bootstrap tied to a cannon and thrown overboard in retaliation. Only later did they learn they also needed his blood to break the curse and had, in fact, doomed themselves to continued damnation. Over the next decade the Pearl menaced the Caribbean as the pirates searched for the coins until all but one was found. As a boy, Will Turner brought the gold medallion with him on his journey to the Caribbean, although Elizabeth Swann, the governor's daughter, came into possession of it and kept it hidden. The Pearl later attacked Port Royal and abducted Elizabeth, believeing she was Bootstrap's child—the only source of Turner blood.
The Pearl was eventually commandeered by Jack Sparrow and Will Turner. While the pirates were fighting the Royal Navy at Isla de Muerta, Jack's new crew makes off with the Pearl, leaving Jack behind. However, they later rescued him when he escaped execution in Port Royal.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest reveals some of the back story of Jack Sparrow and the Black Pearl. Originally, she was the Wicked Wench that was sunk. (The ship is based on the one in the Disneyland attraction that inspired the movie.) Jack made a pact with Davy Jones, the captain of the Flying Dutchman, to raise her from the deep as Jack's own ship. In return, Jack would relinquish his soul to Jones after thirteen years, although following the mutiny, Barbossa held command for the majority of that time. Jack continuing to refer to himself as 'Captain Jack Sparrow' was sufficient reason for Davy Jones to collect the debt. Much of the plot revolves around Jack's attempt to escape his obligation. According to Leech, one of the newer crewmen aboard, the ship can be operated with as few as six hands aboard. This eventually leads to his death in a race to claim the Pearl on Pelogosto.
More is learned about Jack Sparrow and the Black Pearl in a game on the "Dead Man's Chest's" official website. Jack was captain of the Wicked Wench under the employment of the East India Trading Co. (This fits with the reality; according to history, pirates did not build ships specifically to commit piracy. Instead, they either bought or stole small, fast vessels, then retrofitted them with heavy armaments.) Cutler Beckett ordered Jack to pick up precious "cargo" in Africa and deliver it to the West Indies/Caribbean. When Jack discovers the cargo is slaves, he frees them in Africa. As revenge, Beckett orders the "Wench" burned and sunk and Jack branded as a pirate. After Jack escapes prison, he vows to get the Wench back and nearly drowns attempting to pull her up from the ocean floor. He is saved by Davy Jones, and they strike their bargain. Jones raises the Wench from the depths, and Jack rechristens her Black Pearl.
At the conclusion of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, the Pearl, along with Jack Sparrow, is returned to the ocean bottom by Davy Jones' leviathan, the Kraken. However, Will, Elizabeth, and the surviving Pearl crew vow to resurrect Jack and his ship. In interviews with cast members on FilmFocus, it's been revealed that the Black Pearl is at "World's End", still intact. Jack Sparrow is supposedly dead aboard her and will be resurrected by Tia Dalma, who has joined the Black Pearl's crew in their quest to find Sparrow
Captain - Jack Sparrow
Sparrow has dark brown eyes and long, dark brown to black hair, which he wears mostly in braids and dreadlocks. He has a facial hair in a goatee type style; the beard is fashioned into two long braids. He wears several strands of beads in his hair, a single piece of eight draped over his bandanna, a silver chain-link charm, and a reindeer shin bone needle. On the right side of Sparrow's jaw is an open wound, reminiscent of a scrape this wound never heals. Sparrow's bandanna is dark red in the first film, although in the second and third installments it has a much more faded appearance giving it a pink hue.
Over his puffy white shirt, Sparrow wears a long vest. This vest is blue on the front and dark gray on the back, the back being shorter than the front. In the sequels, the vest has been altered slightly adding a pinstripe pattern to the back.
Jack Sparrow also wears dark brown (dark gray in the first film) drop front breeches, which are tucked into his brown suede leather boots.
Sparrow has a leather baldric with a silver filigree buckle slung over his shoulder, which holds the scabbard for his black sabre. The color and buckle were changed from first film to the sequel.
His leather tricorne hat is medium brown. The back side of the hat is rolled up like a scroll. Sparrow also has a dark blue-grey frock coat.
Four rings adorn Sparrow's hands. One is a skull ring with a green emerald on his right index finger. Another is a black onyx flower ring on his left ring finger. In Dead Man's Chest, he steals an oval amethyst ring from Tia Dalma's shack and places it on his left index finger, moving the silver oriental dragon ring to his left thumb. This ring appears to be the same one Captain Barbossa wore in Curse of the Black Pearl. He also has two leather glove bands on his right middle and ring fingers which attach his leather glove.
Sparrow wears a red-striped sash and 2 belts around his waist. In the first film, only his compass is attached to his belt. In the second film, a second belt and more trinkets were added such as a small animal skin, a chicken foot, an animal vertebrae, and a small red sculpture of a mermaid which serves as a fertility symbol. In the third film, a large tuft of gray hair has been added that is actually a shrunken voodoo head from the cannibal island.
Interestingly, in the deleted scenes for the first film, Sparrow reveals what appears to be a severe burn mark on his left forearm when Elizabeth questions his legend. However, in the second film (most noticeable as Sparrow hangs off the rigging of the Pearl, bidding farewell to the Pelegostos), this scar is clearly missing. Having only existed in a deleted scene, this scar is non-canon.

Interceptor -
Armament
The Interceptor is armed with six main deck cannons, six underdeck cannons, and four cannons on the poop deck (the high deck with the steering wheel). Along with the sixteen main guns, it also has two small swivel guns on the poop-deck.
The Ship - Hailed as the fastest ship in the Caribbean, the HMS Interceptor is first seen when Jack Sparrow attempts to board it (with the intention of stealing it) while most of the Royal Navy is attending Commodore James Norrington's promotion ceremony. After Will Turner frees him from prison, Jack schemes to commandeer the Interceptor by pretending to hijack Norrington's command ship, the Dauntless, anchored in Port Royal's outer bay. While witnessing Jack's seemingly inept attempt to steal his vessel, Norrington proclaims Sparrow the worst pirate he's ever seen and sails out on the Interceptor to apprehend him. As he and his men storm the Dauntless, Jack and Will swing over to the unattended Interceptor and set sail. Norrington attempts to chase them, but Jack has disabled the Dauntless' rudder, rendering the ship unmaneuverable. As the Interceptor sails away, an officer admiringly remarks, "That's got to be the best pirate I've ever seen." To which Norrington grudgingly concedes, "So it would seem."
Will and Jack sail to Tortuga where they recruit a crew that includes Jack's old friend, Joshamee Gibbs and Anamaria, whose boat Jack stole and sailed to Port Royal in. To sway his new crew into joining their adventure, Jack (prompted by Will) offers Anamaria the Interceptor in exchange for the boat he "borrowed" from her. The crew accepts, and they set sail for Isla de Muerta.
Captain - James Norrington
