Tell me why I can go to swim practice everyday, work my butt off, and not get sore the next day, but if I rave for an hour straight, I wake up and feel like a zombie. Wtf? I just don't get it. I can swim miles a day and not get sore, yet I dance around my bedroom for just an hour and get stiff as a rock? question

That is becuse you use different muscles and the muscles that you use for danceing don't have as good endurance as your other muscles.

Stretching is actually a good idea. I even preformed my own small experiment:
Two raves, each two weeks apart so my body had ample time to recover. That and I couldn't get to one the week after the first one xd . I did my best to preform the same moves and stuff as best I could remember for the second one. But it's hard when you get diffrent music. Rave one: No stretching. Rave two: Stretching.
After Rave One, my shoulders and legs were sore to kingdom-come. After Rave Two, I was just fine. Well, not really, but more-so then the day after Rave One.
So, in my experience, stretching does help alot. But it is also best to try to avoid streniouis(sp?) movement as best you can unless you're like me: Crazy xp
