I sit.
But seriously, I recently started playing my Rogue again, and I dueled my friend, a Hunter. And I realize why I rolled a Warlock.
In any case, I just can't beat him. Blowing most of my CDs, Combat specced, I get him to half. Maybe.
What's worse is Dwarf Hunters.
Stunlock seems to not work (Especially against the dwarves) because he is BM spec, and I just don't have the pure skill to beat a BM spec hunter skilllocking.

Rogue stunlocking has no skill involved. Just timing and knowing how to do it. Check World Of Roguecraft for perfect stunlocks, and grab EnergyWatch and StunWatch (from curse-gaming) to get the bars tracking your energy ticks and stun times to do it perfect.
But, yeah, hunters will own you most of the time. Frost traps, scatter shot, track hidden, pet attacking you at all times, and concussive to slow you down. Also, serpent sting so you cant return to stealth.

Hunters are usually one of those classes that rogues have difficulty beating.
Sap him, and go straight for the pet. If he's BM specced, it'll be like fighting two players when bestial wrath is active. If sap breaks early or you get caught in a freezing trap, burn blind. Use crippling poison, of course.

I suck as a Hunter... duel me! You'll win everytime!
Unless you suck as Rogue, that is.
I recently got ambushed at the Pools of Agonnar by a rogue, I wasn't in combat so I can't even use that as an excuse. I turned my pet on him whilst I tried to run away to distance and put Bestial Wrath on... I died, but the rogue did get taken down to at least 30% health thanks to the pet. lmao
As with any class, it varies person to person. In my opinion, anyway. Some Rogues stand out as brilliant, whereas others are pissweak and dead easy to kill.
It's probably because I got my Hunter to 60 the day before BC came out. I may have the experience of levelling and grinding, but I didn't give myself any PVP experience.. I just wanted him to be 60. Weak excuse, but I'm sticking to it.

Yeah. Hunters are probabbly the second hardest to beat in PvP (i tihnk you all know who's first)
In my experience BM seems better for PvP then Marks. If i duel a marks my level i will own him. I freeze huunter, fear pet, beastial wrath and attack melee. He's down withoout losing a third of my health.

Now, I don't play him much so I havn't bothered.

Sadly, he is BM specced. And, his gear > Mine. It takes me longer to kill his pet then it does him to just kill me. + Dwarf Hunters use their stoneskin and are immune to blind.

The only chance I have had to beat BM hunters (Warlock! Has tried all 3 specs, and Rogue, also tried out all 3 specs.) on any of my characters was to hope someone killed there pet, and I manage to get them while they are rezzing it.

People always say. "Ignore the pet!"
I say stop listening to that person they're a moron. A hunters pet is deadly. You can't catch up to a hunter, seriously, just doesn't happen, so when you give chase, you have the pet wailing on you the entire time.
If you're a rogue, crippling poison the pet first before you go after the hunter. Remember to sap the hunter first.
If you're a warrior hamstring it. Do this while the hunter is under intimidating shout.
If you're a warlock/priest fear it.
I think they can be sheeped.
Just for gods sake, don't ignore the pet.
Also remember that a hunter SHOULD run, so if you have the pet slowed when you run after him itlkk run after you, but slowly.

X: Warlocks, just fear the pet and try to outDPS the hunter. Went demo again on my lock. Does wonders against anything that can't Banish. But anyways... I can't take out his pet in the amount of Sap, and I don't waiste blind on duels. I ain't made of money.

Well, actually i forget about BW anyway, and only use it if im taking down a runner or something, but i always use it in a duel. Intimidation him, concussive shot, aimed shot, maybe an arcane shot if i dont have BW

rogues when doing pvp are anti caster. rogues are meant to kill quick then disapear. so we sneak up on a clothy behind the main killzone and just pound the shits out of them in the shortest time possible. if we try to fight something that can take alot of hits or avoid our hits at all we are screwed. hunters are meant for "hunting" rogues. rogues are completely f'ed for 2mins if a hunter gets a mark on us. +they just kite us while there pet attacks us +there pets sometimes see you+ the flare skill+ traps.
if your a rogue doing pvp dont waste time fighting anything thats can wear mail or better. be usefull a kill those dirty clothies when they least expect your dagger in their back. ninja

Final_Rest Yeah. Hunters are probabbly the second hardest to beat in PvP (i tihnk you all know who's first) I dont, please inform me. Im assuming your referring to everyones friend warlocks. BM hunters own warlocks, easy, no fear, all they have is deathcoil.
