I am a Japan fanatic and I really can speak japanese and english and I really am white. I suck at Japanese, but that doesn't effect my passion(sp?) for X Japan, Gackt, and GLAY. I'm actually really into hard rock, like Adema, Saliva, and POD. Metalica is Okay, but not what trhey used to be. I'm also into Rapcore bands like Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit. I dunno, there are a lot of bands I like, but I stick close to Rap, Rock, and a hybrid of the two. MC 500 Foot Jesus is a good example. He's Rap/Alternative.

And I wouldn't know about that, but I would say ever since they picked up that white chick their hooks are WORLDS better.

Head Strong was the /ONLY/ Good song on their cd. If it weren't for that track Ozzy Ozborn wouldn't take the time of day to piss on that album. 2. Rapcore and Nu-metal are the same genre, differnt words. It's what happens with a language so big as English.

I like a wide array of music such as hard rock, nu-metal.....well anything that rocks. I also like a lot of the one hit wonders that are out there, but I will put down who I like:
-Saliva (I want their new album, the theme song to the PPV kicks a**) -Motorhead (well because of WWE, but I like more than "The Game" and "Evolution") -Staind (I like the beat and lyrics, just hate what they sing about) -Godsmack (aucostic or electric) -Linkin Park -Metallica (the older stuff) -Disturbed (again, the first CD) -Sevendust -The Four Horsemen (band from the 80's, they had some good tunes if you look on Kazaa) -Static-X
Then I like a lot of the old stuff, but I tell my friends, 'out with the old, in with the new'. Hearing Zepplin and AC/DC is ok on old rock stations or on a retro night, but otehr than that, it's just wrong. It was a generation ago. Don't get me wrong, some of those songs/bands are still good to hear once in a while, but not to obsess over, which all my friends do.

*takes a deep breath* Metallica, The Rasmus, ACDC, Slipknot, Linkin Park, Korn, Yellowcard (but they overplay Ocean Avenue and I hate that song stressed ), Nirvana, Guns N' Roses, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Slayer, Shinedown, Hatebreed, Kiss, Evanescence, Queens of the Stone Age, Sum 41, Alien Ant Farm, Blink 182 (I like their self-titled album best), and Seether.
And as for J-Pop and J-Rock, I like a lot of them, but my favorites are Gackt and Do As Infinity. Speaking of Japanese music, there are a lot of animes with good soundtracks, like Cowboy Bebop. The guy who does music for the Final Fantasy games, Nobuo Uematsu, is by far one of my favorites. *feels like a nerd and hides*

Now if you excuse me, I'm going to hide in that nerdy box, listening to my Final Fantasy music.

Nobuo Uematsu should do a world tour, make lots of money, but should make sure to come to NY. It'd be so cool to hear One Winged Angel, One Winged Angel (Advent Children Trailer Remix), and Otherworld live. Otherworld may not happen...but the first tw might. *hangs on to what little hope she has of the concert actually coming to NY*
