It was grossly apparent, to whoever had the misfortune of running into her in this state, that Sukari was in a decidedly foul mood.
It was no coincidence that the weather seemed to mirror her discomfort- she frequently had a somewhat more acute tuning with nature than most of her family. The rainy and gray weather that had always drawn out her more melancholy side had a different effect on her than usual today- the sadness and regret festering in her soul had been left to develop into irritability and snappiness, gradually evolving into righteous fury as she contemplated her life. It didn't help that the weather had been like this for days, and her mood only seemed to worsen with the time gone by.
Life, it seemed, always had a habit of screwing her over, and it didn't seem like it was about to change. The burden of guilt that she always carried on her shoulders seemed heavier than usual, although she would die before admitting that her anger was being caused by something other than the icy barrier that she worked so hard to erect around her heart. At least, that was what she wanted others to think. Whether or not it was actually true had yet to be proven, and in some cases, her behavior suggested the opposite.
Paying no mind to the icy rain that drenched her silver and ebony coat, narrowed crystalline irises focused on a fixed point on the distant horizon as she, for lack of a better word, 'stormed' across the hillsides. The mud that squelched beneath her hooves and hindered her angry footsteps only made her madder, and she fumed silently as she continued her pointless trek across the damp fields.

Again, the weather had taken a turn for the worse and giving himself a shake, the stallion tried to remove as many of the droplets from his coat as possible. It was a rather pointless exercise, but Grencia had never been one to contemplate such things and simply did it as a matter of comfort...even if he would be forced to perform the same move in another few minutes or so.
Releasing a chuckle at his own predicament, the stallion allowed his gaze to drift across the somewhat solemn horizon. It wasn't the most desirable weather and it didn't look set to shift at any point soon but he wasn't about to complain about it. No, if he really took the time to consider the current weather it was really quite peaceful with every rain drop like a gentle beat of a drum.
A small smile appeared on the flaming stallion' equine lips and he closed his eyes for a few moments to savour the sound. That constant and yet erratic beat, it simply emphasized the fact that the very land he stood on was thriving with life.
His eyes still remaining closed, he rather unceremoniously unfurled his wings and with a whicker, thrust the rather large span outwards. Needless to say, the odd light possessed by the feathers caused his wings to positively glow as he abruptly forced the water from them but in doing so...a very small rainbow appeared. It only lasted for a second as the light from his wings mingled with the tiny droplets within the air, but it was abrupt enough and lengthy enough in duration to light up the area around him ever so slightly for a split second...
