100% Correct! I know Japan like the back of my hand
80-99% there's so many, I get some mixed up
60-79% not great, but still passed the test
40-59% I could benefit from a little juku (cram school)
  20-39% Uh, yeah . . . better than nothing!
  0-19% I have dishonored my family T_T

I made a little quiz about the 47 prefectures (kind of like states or provinces) of Japan. Go quiz yourself and see if you are a Japan Geography master!

http://www.purposegames.com/game/319

Edit: if you want to study a little before taking the quiz, here's a site with prefectures divided by region.

haha, 27%. Yeah I'm horrible with prefectures except for a few. I'm better with general areas or some cities. Considering I studied in Hokkaido, didn't really have much chance to visit other places.

Umm, My extent of Japanese knowledge is just what I pick up from Japanese music, or anime. And this kana book that I don't study.

( Heck,I don't know anything about, say, Mexico's geography, even though I'm in Spanish 3.)

Edit: About 38-39% ish.
The only ones I knew were Hokkaido and Okinawa.

Oh goodness. I could tell you the general shape of Japan, but not any of the islands or where they are or their names. Let alone the prefectures.

[. 聖ルヂーと言う .]

    Let's see… St. Rudy + Foreign Geography = Fail.

I'm good at U.S. geography, but when it comes to foreign geography? It's a complete turnaround. I know about the different regions, but I don't remember exactly where they are. It's the same way for me with German geography as well; I failed the online geography game we did one day in the computer lab during class. I somewhat know where the regions are, and I definitely know the Tokyo, Hokkaido, and Okinawa prefectures, but other than that, it's almost laughably bad when it comes to actual prefectures. I think I should probably start to brush up on this, because I've ignored Japanese geography for my past few years in indepedently studying Japanese.
