The Supreme Balance
Absolute power... I pity you all... Suffering and grief abounds all who are foolish enough to wear the rings... A group of students from the Edington School of Arts stumble upon twenty-seven ancient rings. Each slip one ring onto their fingers - unknown to them the burden and power that they now must carry. This roleplay is based on the twenty-seven true runes concept found in all the Suikoden games from Konami. Table of Contents

School RulesThank you for choosing the Edington School of Arts. We hope that your stay here will be intellectually, physically, and spiritually fulfilling. Please read through this handbook as all insubordination will not be tolerated anywhere on campus (or in this thread for that matter). Please follow Gaia Online's Terms of Service. Please keep posts PG-13 appropriate. Sentama Lin is the game master; the players are his pawns. His job is to ensure that the story remains interesting and that order is maintained. In all aspects of the game, the game master has the final infallible say; in other words, the game master is god of this world. Killing a character without permission of the character's player or the game master is prohibited. Taking control of a character without permission of the character's player or the game master is prohibited. Please be literate. Write in complete sentences and make sure to differentiate between actual spoken text, thoughts, and actions. This world is fairly open ended. I will adjust to the happenings of the story and will allow your creative thoughts to essentially blossom (Example: You could persuade the Administrative office to give you an early allowance... perhaps...). Be creative. Out-of-character posts should be separated from in-character posts using either {{}}, [[]], or (()). If anything needs clarification, feel free to ask the game master; That's the reason he is around.
We hope you enjoy your education here at Edington School of Arts. Remember - these rules were made for all in mind!

Office of the RegistrarHello there! Welcome to the Registrar's office. Please have a seat and fill out this form. Once this form is finished you'll be all set for your new life here at Edington School of Arts! In addition, here is your student handbook, school uniforms, and student ID card. The student handbook contains all our current classes and the rules and protocols of this school. Please be sure to always be in uniform during classroom hours and always have your ID card with you at all times. All school buildings and the main gate require ID card access. It's simple; because of radio frequency technology, your ID card will automatically unlock authorized school areas simply by approaching a door. Amazing isn't it? If you ever need access to a room, feel free to ask anyone here at the registrar office. Of course... your reason will need to be a good one! Each student needs three classes. Each student is required to have at least one physical education class. When finished, please give me the form (finish those fields below and send the information via Private Message to Sentama Lin. Use the code!). Name: Played By: Physical Education: Other Class: Other Class: Class List Physical Education (Weapon Proficiency)

City Map
The city of Edington is a quiet and peaceful island connected to the mainland by the Washana-Edington Connection Bridge. There are many things to do in Edington and the metropolis of Washana and transportation to many destinations is fast, free, and efficient thanks to the RWE MAGLEV-Monorail System.
More places will become available as they are revealed in the story line.
Edington School of Arts: A small private school campus located at the western edge of Edington. The School of Math and Sciences, the School of Liberal Arts, Gymnasium, Administrative Offices, Cafeteria, and Student and Teacher Dormitories are located here. RWE MAGLEV-Monorail makes stops here.
Downtown Edington: A tourist attraction featuring many entertainment possibilities. Stroll down the beach for some sun and swimming. Shop at all the stores - many materials and other items may be purchased here. Cheap local cuisine and other boardwalk favourites may also be found here. RWE MAGLEV-Monorail makes stops here.
Edington Aquarium and Park: Edington Aquarium and Park houses a beautiful outdoor garden - replete with many kinds of flowers, trees, and shrubbery; a restaurant of a fine culinary caliber; and a series of tubes which give visitors a one-hour tour of the local waters and scenery surrounding Edington. RWE MAGLEV-Monorail makes stops here.
Temple of Beginning: An old shrine to honour the spirits. People still frequent often to pray. Festivals are sometimes held here. RWE MAGLEV-Monorail makes stops here.
Washana: The bustling metropolis. Washana is filled with all sorts of life; One just has to look around. Be careful - it's easy to lose oneself. RWE MAGLEV-Monorail makes a stop at the Washana International Spaceport (west side of Washana - next to Washana-Edington Connection Bridge) and at the Washana Government District (central Washana).

Legend of Sword and ShieldIn the beginning, there was "darkness." Then, the "darkness" shed a "tear." From that "tear," the brothers Sword and Shield were born. Shield claimed it could defend against any attack. Sword claimed it could slice through anything. The brothers began a legendary battle. At the end, both Sword and Shield shattered. Sword became the sky, Shield became the earth, and the sparks from the battle became the stars. As for the jewels, they fell to the ground and became the True Runes--The runes that all other runes were born from.(The story of this world is based upon this legend from Konami's Suikoden series. Although not beneficial - and possibly destructive of the plot - one may wish to research the true runes.) Over time, the true runes changed themselves into rings. Dormant for eons, they patiently wait for their bearers to arrive.
