i was woundering why saint dane is called saint dane he isnt a saint and hes not a dog wat do u think(i just brought this up couse were learning about medeival monks and wat u have to do to become a saint and stuff in school. xd biggrin smile xp whee razz exclaim exclaim

Well I'm sure D.J. wanted him to have a cool, questionable name, and Saint Dane just sort of fits.
I suppose D.J. couldn't name him Sooooper Evil Demon Butt, now could he?

I wonder where in the world he would be considered a Saint. It just adds another dimension. We'll probably find out. Maybe to his people, he is or was a saint.

Yet I was wondering... say you were having a casual conversation with Saint Dane. If you wanted to call him by his first name, would you say "Hey, Saint, fork over the money you owe me". That would sound amusing... whee I think calling him "Dane" sounds a bit better 4laugh
But I do wonder why MacHale named him "Saint" Dane. Any good author puts meaning behind the names of their main characters. I really hope we find out!
