  LYSIUM[ disjointed.nonsensical.lacking ] The Reverie eventually to be known as Lysium is rather disconcerting to look at directly; it can decide on neither precise shape nor dimension nor consistency, and is constantly shifting fluidly in motion. It was found between the pages of a Book, and seems to have made a pet of Death.
Upon first glance, it seems to resemble a nebula. The brightest star in the center pulses with an unknown energy.

  THE BOOK[ incomprehendible.mysterious.divine ] The book is rather small and unassuming, bound by nothing particularly special, and with a cover of patchwork materials. It has no title, and no author makes claim of ownership.
Inside, the pages are mismatched and made of differing materials. The things written on these pages do not match up to each other either, and neither do the materials and colors used to write these things. You might find yourself reading a story about three bears which, half-way through, somehow become instructions on how to build some kind of flying machine. There are thousands of languages recorded in this book alone, and English is, in fact, rarely found. Some pages are illustrated, some pages are nothing but illustrations, and some pages are completely blank.
Furthermore, the contents of this mysterious book regularly seem to shift; there is no table of contents and it is nearly impossible to find a page again after having read it once. Bookmarks and dogears seem to shift in place.
Directly writing into this book will sometimes provoke a reply -- but from who, and for what purpose?
If it is not in Lysium's hands, it is likely you will never find it without the girl's help. She has a way of hiding things that stay hidden, no matter how determined the finder. She will share, however, if you ask nicely. Tell me a story... A strange book has been found. It looks like a storybook, judging from what little legible contents it contained. Among the various blocks of gibberish text, smudged writing, and blank pages, there seems to be chronicles of events that have most certainly occured in the Illusionary world. So perhaps this is a book of history? After all, the history of that world is bizarre enough to put fairytales to shame.
What's even stranger is that there are pages only certain individuals seem to be able to read. What could the book be saying about the world's past? What stories could it possibly tell? And those strange pages…is the book trying to hide something? Why would a book like this end up in our hands anyways?
