Legends Academy Valentine's Day Crafts Workshop Subject: Art/English related Grade: Kindergarten+ Class Size: Unlimited Every February, the young scholars at the Legends Academy are offered a chance to take a break from their studdies and focus on the thing nagging at the heart of every youth: Love!
In the name of love (or in Mr. Kasey's case, in the name of St. Valentine the Martyr), Ms. Dragoneddy, Mr. Kasey, and Mr. Levian put together a special crafts day workshop to teach kids how to make adorable little Valentines to give to their friends and crushes on this special holiday. (Just in case there is a student who doesn't get any Valentines, the teachers also have a stockpile of them signed "Secret Admirer" so nobody gets left out.)
Mr. Kasey The Art Teacher
Sit down at his table to learn how to make a basic heart-shaped valentine. For kids seriously interested in art, he will also assist in drawing pictures.
Ms. Dragoneddy The Creative Writing Teacher
Sit down at her table to learn how to write a beautiful poem to your valentine.
Mr. Levian The Substitute Teacher
If you don't need help with anything specific or the other two teachers are busy, he can help you with anything from finding the glue to using glitter effectively.This counts as a class/school RP, provided that you fufill the post requirement. When you are finished with a valentine, post it in the thread and the link will be added here. At the end of the party, the maker and recipiant of the most creative valentine will recieve a fanart of the two together. You may enter as many times as you like, and the valentines do not nessesarily have to be for other royals. Spencer walked into the classroom. He glanced around as he walked slowly making sure this was the right room. When he decided this was the place where he'd be spending his time cutting paper and writing gushy love notes he sat down at the table he was closest to and waited patiently.
Jillian and Justin walked into the classroom soon after Spencer had himself seated in a chair.
Jillian looked at Spencer. "Justin..Is that him?" She whispered to her brother.
Justin nodded. "I think.." He whispered back.
They then walked slowly over to Spencer.
"Hi.." Jillian said being the first to speak. "I'm Jillian"
"Are you Spencer?" Justin asked. "Oh, I'm Justin"
Spencer blinked and nodded. "Yes.." He said.
"We're your cousins..." Jillian and Justin said softly in unison.
Spencer blinked twice and sighed. "Please sit then cousins.." He said "We're gonna have alot of fun here..I think..."
Jillain and Justin nodded and sat next to Spencer.

After giving Mr. Kasey, who was engrossed in completing a vivid sketch of a pair of lovebirds, a hard nudge with her elbow, Ms. Dragoneddy walked up to the table. She handed each child a blank sheet of notebook paper and a pencil and beamed at them, sparing a little wink for Spencer, who was in her class.
"Okay kids! Today we're going to write Valentine's poems. Everybody knows the old "Roses are red..violets are blue...sugar is sweet and so are you..right? That's a type of short poem called a 'limrick'. There are always five lines. The first two and the last one always rhyme, and the 3rd and 4th lines always rhyme. For starters, you can try writing a Valentine's Day Limerick. Write it down on paper first, then you can copy it onto a blank sheet and make it nice a pretty looking with these markers when you've got it down."

((lol limerick poems in English about 2 or 3 weeks ago we learned about all that mumbo jumbo. XD))
Heaven quickly walked inside the room with a smile on her face she looked at all the teachers and thought of which table to go to.
"I'll go to the valentine making station!"
She said jumping up and down as she ran to the table. She looked at all the papers that were to be used to make all of the colorful and beautiful valentines.

Seeing the students enter, Mr. Kasey reluctantly stowed his drawing into a binder and began setting up his table as well. He had rudimentary art supplies, namely scissors, glue, and construction paper. He kept the glitter at his end of the table so he could supervise the use of it, lest the colors get mixed up or someone spilled.
"Welcome! And your name is, little girl?" he bent down to greet Heaven.

Spencer stared at his piece of paper for a little while. He then picked up his pencil and started to write-
Sugar may be sweet
But that you surely beat
Violets may be a pretty blue
But you are better that is true.
He then picked up his piece of paper and showed it to Ms. Dragoneddy.
"Is this good teacher?" He asked.
Jillian and Justin sat there staring at Ms. Dragoneddy.
"What do we do?" Justin asked.

“I suppose I’ll come back and pick you up later” Cyn grumbled, openly frowning at the trio of children before her. In response the triplets merely shrugged their shoulders, turning and heading inside the school building. They knew the way home, so if she didn’t return they would simply head home in their own time, or call Orpheus; either option would ensure that they would be able to burden Cyn another day.
With his hands stuffed within his pockets, Viktor lead they way toward the classroom in which they would be forced to endure an event that related to the gushy, bright and irritating holiday that was Valentine’s Day. Pausing at the dare and inhaling sharply, preparing to enter the ‘fray’, the toddler crossed the threshold; Amelia and Marcus following behind their brother.
The room was already filled with several children, and teachers; the triplets frowning in unison as they registered the vast number of freak’s in attendance. Scowling at Heave and the two fox children with Spencer, the triplets moved to an empty table; Viktor and Marcus offering Spencer a nod of greeting, and Amelia offering him a faint smile and a wave as they passed.

Heaven turned around to see the triplets but she didn't shoot any glares at them. Deciding to leave them alone so that nothing like the halloween party would start up all over again she turned back around and gave a little smile.
'Maybe this time everybody will be a little bit more lucky' She thought to herself smiling.

Spencer saw the triplets enter and gave a nod to Viktor and Marcus and then a small smile and a wave back to Amelia. He then looked to his Cousins. "Jillian, Justin.." He whsipered. "Those three over there, They don't like people with animal tails and stuff...So, just stay with me and if they come over go play with the girl over there.." He pointed to Heaven.
Jillian shrugged not seeming to care. "Ohkay Spencer.." She whispered.
Justin looked over to the triplets and smiled softly and then turned back to Spencer. "Oh they can't be too bad Spencer" He whispered.
Spencer sighed. "Just be careful.." He whispered.

"You can call me Mr. Kasey." he took her hand gently and shook it. "This is the station where you make the actual Valentine's card. You can make out of construction paper, or draw a card by yourself on white paper. Actually, I think I may even have a few cut-out coloring sheets."
He began digging through a nearby box of files, and finally pulled out several copies of uncolored hearts, stars, puppies, and other cute things, and laid them on the table.
"Or, I can show you how to make a popup card."
"That's very good Spencer!" Ms. Dragoneddy beamed at him. "Now go over to Mr. Kasey's table and you can make a card to write your lovely poem on!"
She turned to Jillian and Justin, still smiling and explained patiently, "You write a poem. Hmm..to get started, how about you each pick a word you like. When you have one, write it down, then I'll help you think of a word that rhymes with it."

Spencer smiled. "Okay!" He said jumping off his chair and over to Mr. Kasey's table. He tugged at Mr. Kasey's sleeve. "I'm done with my poem sir, may I put it on a valentine now?" He asked sweetly.
Jillian and Justin thought for a few seconds.
"Lilly!" Jillian said smiling.
"Dove!" Justin practically shouted.

Heaven nodded and started to make a card.
"I'll make this one for Nyoko..."
She whispered.
Than she turned around and smiled at Spencer.
"Hi Spencer!"
Heaven said with a little wave.

"Just go in! Kitty assured me Heaven will be there. I'll pick you up later; I still need to go get you signed up for class."
The door was pushed open hard, and a small boy was shoved in rather roughly. A slender young girl shooed him in. "Go on!" she hissed softly, motioning for him to keep moving. As fast as she arrived, she was gone. The little boy was left clueless by himself. He turned and glanced around the room, his indigo eyes full of confusion and a bit of curiosity. He swished his sleek brown tail back and forth, nervously looking for someone. There! He scooted as fast as he could past some tables.
“Heaven!” he cried out in relief, “Mama said you’d be here! I dunno what I’m supposed at do!” Nyoko sighed. “She said she had to sign me up for school. I don’t want to go to school! I want to stay home and train,” he muttered sadly, shaking his head. Suddenly his face perked up. “But, she did say she’ll try to get me in your class!”

Heaven jumped up at the loud sound of her name and quickly turned around almost dropping the card which she soon covered when she saw who it was.
"NYOKO! Hi!"
She said standing up to give him a quick friendly hug. Than she sat back down and pulled up a chair towards her and patted the seat.
"Have a seat."
She said as she than thought about what Nyoko said. When she saw him sitting down she talked again about the school issue.
"Oh Nyoko, there is nothing to be afraid about for school. And don't worry I bet you that you'll get into my class! It would be so much fun! she said with a squeal and than continued to speak.
"Well at this table we are making valentine cards for our friends and family! Ya know, for valentines day!"
