Since its already been decided by the PC(politically correct that is) people out there, that pro-choice is the "correct" belief and pro-life is the "offensive" belief, my question is how long will it be until they have their own special word for our "bigotry"?
I'm thinking within the next couple of years there will be a new word, I'm thinking "abortphobia" or some bull-crap like that. I know theres already mysoginistic or whatever, but they gotta come up with someword specifically refering to the "woman's choice".
You guys think it will happen?

Wait wait.... so its alright to state that pro-life is offensive!?

WTF!! Why can't people actually debate the issue and quit bitching about one anothers side like its the devil or something. God it's like dealing with a bunch of snotty nose egotistical brats.

Kaiser pretty much said what I was thinking. So much for being "open minded"

And they've already got a name for us; Anti-Choice.
PostPosted: Tue Feb 06, 2007 5:05 am

It is my policy that when someone calls me anti-choice, I call him or her anti-life.

Oh, and when they say, "Not really because being pro-life is absolutely against a woman's choice, but being pro-choice isn't absolutely against life," I call bs.

It's not about being absolute. It's about favoring one option over the other. So yes, in the matter of abortion, I am anti-choice of the mother (pro-choice of the fetus, but that's just splitting hairs...). But that makes them anti-life of the fetus. They can't have it both ways.

I mean really WTF, don't the b***h at us about using 'emotional' ploys (I could name a ******** of that s**t that they pull) but this is exactly it!?

This is just another ******** piece of s**t Pro-Choice propaganda that's trying to demonize Pro-life advocates. I've stated to them time and time again, anti-choice is the extreme of both sides.

God this is exactly why I'm so sick of this bullshit.

First of all anyone who views the MSM, can see the negative light in which they portray pro-lifers. While I don't think technically right now its politically incorrect to be pro-life it will be very soon as they already frown upon it.
As far as the term, its just speculation.

We're only offensive to the liberals. To the conservatives we're the good guys, and since it's hard to find conservatives on the internet, (what with them actually living in the real world and all) we see a lot of pro choice people.

I actually find the opposite. I've seen more pro-life people on the interenet, in the adult category. In the under 18 group, I see more people who are pro-choice.

The internet is giving rise to information spreading about our cause. The MSM can't portray us as a bunch of crazies who hate women when people can actually talk to us online and debate our views with us. I mean, they can portray us that way, but they can't keep up the farce. More women are sending out stories about how they were hurt by abortion. More people are spreading information about fetal development. More people are making logical arguments in a public arena without the media being able to take quotes out of context or misquote entirely. They can't hide liberals for life, pagans for life, atheists for life, Democrats for life. They also can't hide christians for choice or republicans for choice. Stereotypes are harder to make now, because we have a say in a place where hundreds of thousands of people can see what we write without the middleman editors of the MSM.

lol yes I get this all the time, too.
When told I'm "anti-choice" I say, not at all, because I pro-deciding if you want to have sex, pro-using birth control, pro-adoption and pro-taking care of the kid yourself; this is far from "anti-choice" mrgreen
