Artemis crawled into the shadows of a tree by the water side, she looked down at the silver liquid, amazed with its clarity and utterly befuddled by its depth and consistency. She dropped a hand into the water, resulting in a large splash of the liquid to go up and onto her face and clothes.

After a moments consideration she repeated the action, this time with a smile on her face. By the time she had both hands splashing the water almost repeatedly she was full out laughing! Oh what a sight she must have been.

A small boy of green and brown. Shifted his body as he moved around the tree. Moving away from the sun that was shinning down onto the broken and torn head quarters. That sudden rush of being warm then moving into the shade to cool off was most spectacular, something Oak enjoyed while he was being attended by his guardian... but what was there to enjoy in such rubble and destruction?

Oak's green eyes drifted down as he stopped in his path. A girl was playing in the water. Rather dull looking though Oak thought to himself.

"Umm... Hi.." The boy managed to whisper. A slight airiness filled his words as they left his wooden lips. Though the boy still cowered behind the safety of the tree.

Art stopped her motions to look up. She heard a sound, she was certain she had, but from where? After in front of her was considered clear, she began to twist herself around until she reached a peculiar position that permitted her to see the camafloged boy. She tilted her head to the side, wondering what he was doing way over there.

Smiling she lifted some water and flung it at him. The water exploded long before hitting the boy into a burt of light and drops of crystals, until they hit the ground as mere water once again, "Hi!" She shouted, giggling.

Oak watched as the small girl flung the water at him. Causing him to retreat slightly more behind the safety of the tree. But then something happened it... the water exploded into burst of light. Something about that wasn't natural, but it was interesting.

"Wha... what are you doing?" Oak managed to mumble, still hiding halfway behind the tree. Holding tightly to the bark flakes, much like he was holding on for dear life.

Art tilted her head sideways and looked confused as her little toddler aged mind attempted to consider the boy further. "Playin'" She answered, "You?" She really hoped the boy would come out from behind the tree. She turned herself to face him so that he knew that she was focused on him now, something her mom taught her to do.

Oak moved his tree like figure further and a bit more away from behind the tree. His frail figure coming into better view inch by inch. "I.. I don't know. I just was wandering around here." Oak nodded. A few strands of his multicolored hair fell in front of his eyes and face.

Art giggled, smiling brightly. "Wanna play with me?" She asked the interesting boy, "I found a nifty area, it gots a large hole, and stuff." She pushed herself onto her feet. And although it looked like she was a natural walker, she had to correct her balance often, but not once did she fall as she walked over to the boy.

Oaks eyes grew with excitement. Play? What is play... it sounded found. Oak nodded with a smile on his face.

"I would like too.. umm "play""
Oak continued to smile as he finally stepped all the way out from behind the tree. Reaching up with his right hand to move the hair out of his face, causing a leaf or two to fall.

"My name is Oak"
Oak spoke, but there was an airy accent to it. Not thick, but light.

"Art'mis." Art replied, but upon hearing it she corrected herself to the simple more correct sounding term, "Art." She mimicked the boy, not used to hand shakes, she allowed hers to be taken and not the other way around.

"Sis this way!" She started to walk one direction until she hit a large bolder, a piece of the destroyed wall. She climbed up it and looked back to see if Oak was following her. A sharp pain of loss flooded Art's senses, tears had formed in her eyes and fell down her confused cheeks. The feeling had been so intense and had passed so quickly that as such a small child she had no idea what to make of it. So she decided to ignore it until she could figure it out.

Oak nodded a small smile on his face and the boy followed Art. Slightly confused when she corrected herself on her name. Did she not know it? Oak shrugged his shoulders and a few leafs fell to the grass.

Watching Art climb up part of the destroyed wall. Oak was feeling a bit anxious. What if they got hurt climbing on things around here?
He preferred being earthbound rather than climbing up on things, mostly out of fear of falling. All of a sudden a sense of emptiness pierced the boy, although no tears ran down his face, but Oak just pushed away the feeling.
"Art, yous not going to get hurt?"

"'Course not." She smiled back at the boy, "Isafe here." She sat on the top of the rock and began to let her legs go down until she slid down the rock onto the ground on the other side. "'Urry up!" She called after the boy, "We closes!" She could see the large hole from here, boy would he get a kick out of it. It was her favoritest place in the entire garden since the dark day.

Oak let out a depressing sigh. Wandering closer to the rock, he lifted up his arms and began to climb up it's rough skin. Hoisting his body up higher and higher, using his feet to control his balance.

Reaching the peak of the stone, Oak sighed once again as he watched Art on the other side. Picking up the pace, the boy turned around until he was on the opposite side of where he had started and mimicked Art's sliding down.
"I'm trying to hurry.."

Art looked back at the boy and almost giggled, she went back and offered him a stable hand, "No fall k?" She smiled as she helped him down the rock the best that a toddler could.

Oak slowly reached out with his hand. Carefully thinking, Oak was thinking if he could truly trust this "Art". Something about her presence didn't seem right... something dark, a lot like the moon that Kyo and him would sit and watch for hours on end. Rather though Oak was more drawn to the sun and so he didn't trust Art too much, but enough to get by.

Oak grasped onto her hand.
"I won't, thank you." A smile slowly creped it's way across his face. Then he slowly slid down the face of the rock till his feet had finally planted themselves down on the first ground.

"Now where?"

"Here!" Art ran foreword stumbling as she did, but still managing with an unseen grace to stay standing. She ran up to its edge and pointed within the large hole in the ground.

The hole had a large self of concrete over one part of it, but not all, and it was deep enough that two children could go to the bottom and not see over the top. at the very bottom some water had accumulated, as if the hole was deep enough to reach a water source beneath the ground.

"It pretty..."
