I am part Native American.Now theres alot of superstitious and suposive spirital powers flowing around our traditions and what not.
Recently at my aunt's funeral. When we were attending the burial, the sky turned murky grey and there was a loud thunderous bang from the sky.She was of the "Eagle" clan so not to my surprise durning her burial service a flock of eagles came by. then when my mom had to burn the black ribbon she wore at the memorial and stuff in our backyard. Another Eagle came from nowere and perched on a tree and watched.
One superstition I have challenged before was this one were it is forbidden for a person of the same clan to fall in love with another .
It is "taboo"or "bad luck"...apparently. Many family on my mothers side have ignored this one as well.
anyone have simular expriances?

Actually I think the Eagle was just seeing her off. Native Americans are very spirtual when it comes to animals. I'm pretty sure most maybe even all of Native Americans have spirit guides who are animals.
