okay then. do whatever it takes to get the shot. webcams can catch data but need time to adjust to the screen, once it adjusts, it should clear up and the details should show.

but why? It's drawn isn't it? Just because it's in a different style, doesn't mean it's not still a cartoon.

Anime is of superrior quality, regardless of fewer frames, Anime happens to still be far superrior to a cartoon, character design alone is evidence enough, in anime the characters have detailed designs, not just physical, but personality wise as well, as anime follows a story that progresses like the chapters of a book.

a cartoon starts off right in the middle, and adds the origins much later on, throwing the story completely random and overall confusing those who would rather follow any story in a path that progresses in a straight line.

in anime characters are humanized, in that they recive injuries that take several episodes or more to heal from, and anime is divided up into sagas which can span hundreds of episodes and are not bound by a 9 month time restriction.

a cartoon releases episodes within a 9 month period in a television season, with 3 months for the artists to rest.

anime has a begining, a middle, and an end, like a true story and like life.

a cartoon is just a middle, the begining is added in only after many demands to prove an origin of any kind or to just improve ratings, screwing some facts due to incontinuity.

in anime a character starts modest, and grows into a greater individual than they started, as the characters grow fans continue to watch to see how the character finishes their individual growth.

in a cartoon a character remains the same and never encounters any major changes through progression quickly becomming dull and bland, making fans lose intrest.

the majority(if not all) anime characters are originals.

the majority(if not all) cartoon characters are immitations of anime characters.

the only exceptions are the 1980's pop culture cartoons He-Man And the Masters of the Universe, Thundercats, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in which there was no particular need to plant origin for He-Man and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as their origin has been elaborated enough through a premere episode and in comic book incarnations, Thundercats was a hybrid of anime and cartoon done correctly with detailed character design and an elaborate story that posessed a number of self-contained episodes.

i agree with both. also, to add to raptors comments, cartoons are never in a set order. they can be watched in any order and still make sense, however anime has story archs and have to be watched in order. this can be an advantage of anime, but atthe same time a dissadvantige, as when anime is on tv if you miss a few eps you dont know whats going on and have to track down the next ep. thats stopped meh from watchin countless anime. one peice, i missed about 3 eps, didnt know what was goin on and havent watched it since; shaman king, the (by the way, has a brilliant dub and exelent english theme song) showing of it on english tv, i missed several eps and stopped watching it.

and on the subject of anime....
are these anime or cartoons made to look like anime?

xiaolin showdown
oban star racers?

w.i.t.c.h.=cartoon(best looking one I seen yet regardless of how few eps I seen)
xiaolin showdown=cartoon(a bad one, anime inspired my a**!)
oban star racers? never saw it, so I cant say.

the lesson in Xiaolin showdown(based on a particular episode I saw) seems to dictate that slacking off and only working when there is no way around it is the way to get ahead in life. BULLSHIT! you work hard, you EARN your place! you work even if it isnt of the utmost absolute importance! that's why these martial arts masters are masters, they literally slave away their lives to their art, aquireing the full trust of their masters before them to learn EVERY move and technique in the book of their style.

look at historical examples, Hattori Hanzo, the grandfather of the ninja archetype! Charlamaigne the Frank, grandfather of France(his actual sword was wielded by Joan of Arc whom inspired french knights to fight the English)! Casper, the FIRST King of Poland who was there when Jesus Christ himself was born! Dr. Martin Luther King jr the equal rights protester! Abreham Lincoln the father of the Emancipation proclamation! were any of these people a slacker? ******** NO! they almost literally slaved away to become historic! and each had their reasons!

Lincoln: wanted to see people treat eachother as equals, and seeing the death of slavery was the first step!

Dr. King: he non-violently protested until black people had equal rights, his "I had a dream" speech leaves ripples in black history, and he said the black man wants to be the white man's brother, not his brother in-law. he died for his people to be given equal rights!

Casper, First King of Poland: was he a slacker? not a chance! Polish people work VERY HARD, being 80% Polish I know that from experience! he was right there in Bethlehem with two other kings who'se names will echo in the pages of history! you look up the first king of Poland and it'll give you documented evidence, if you dont find Casper, the first king of Poland, then you can blame these atheists who oppress the religious!

Joan of Arc: she worked hard to free her people of English oppression, she died for her people! that alone is evidence enough she was no way a slacker!

Hattori Hanzo: the grandfather of the ninja archtype! the father of the legend of ninjas! he lost EVERYTHING he knew as a child thanks to Oda Nobunaga, and the Tokugawa shogunate! he had an objective, he would fight Nobunaga one day and kill him for revenge! the Hattori himself would lead an army of 200 men, men who became loyal to him from inspiration! depicted in numerous varying video games! his connections to the ronin of his time made him an even more powerful man, I personally would say he's the master and father of a number of the 18 disaplines of ninjitsu! master of all ninja disaplines! not a slacker because he worked from nothing and got what he wanted in return!

proof enough that no slacker ever made it into history!

a single individual is chosen from meager beginings who has nothing, and that individual works to their goal and forsaking all else!

get what I mean? SLACKERS NEVER PROSPER!
