You're all pretty good at poetry, but have you ever thought of a rap battle style improv contest? We had a topic like this in another forum I was in, and it was fun to see random rhyming trash talk posts. I like to think that i won, cos i was the last person to post there, but it may be that everyone got bored. So, what do you say? you wouldn't win anything but it would be fun.

You want us to be posting in Some kind of rhyme and rhythm scheme? I'll go for that, if I can use The natural thing: iambic theme. I write in it the fastest, see, I don't know you: but that's for me.

Rhyming couplets eat my heart, They're really a selective art, But sometimes I can manage them If I refine, and leave a hem. Oy vey, these images go on For way too long: I ought be gone.

The competition bows its head, I sense, To us, its masters--here is evidence: I've come again, and rhyming couplets stream As if alligned by something Else Supreme; Such ease I sense in writing in these beats. (Indeed, threads such as these are mental treats.)
How was your day today? (may I inquire What is your scholar's class (your grade or age)) What is the job to which you might aspire? What is your trade: the ear, the written page? I'd like to hear of you a little more: I haven't read too much of yours before.

My week's been depressing I'll say it's hardly been a holiday I got no job I got no money I just had to break up with my honey
But I still got hope I ain't no dope. I'm sure things are gonna work out right cause I've decided I'm gonna fight against the hurt against the pain rise up, fall down and start again
That's me in a nut-shell, my personal hell. Know I wanna know What's your story-yo.
Peace out.

You can dream of dreams; All you want, but here comes one great debutante.
Fame; Money; Dont mean a thing to me, as long as; I get to love my one true baby.
So when the time is right, I'll improv all night, Because I dont rhyme for anyone But yours truly!

I'm sad to come so late in time, My week, I guess, has been alright: 'Was sick for one day, but now I'm Much better in the human sight:
I saw the holocaust memorial And then my grandma had her burial, So I've been something of a nervous heap (Lord, all these things give me the creeps...)
