Heylo! First off, I'd like to say sorry if this question is posted in the wrong place, I wasn't quite shure where to post it. But this is a question I need answered desperately! sweatdrop
I've been looking around for an answer to this question : How large do a set of hands have to be in comparison to the subject's head?
Whenever I draw hands I always find myself unshure about the size and most often the hands look too big or too small but never quite right. Does anyone have a special method or such that allows them to properly draw correctly proportioned hands?

Heh, everyone has trouble with hands, maybe I'll make a tutorial about hand sizes or something...
Anyways, the length of your hand (from the base of the palm to the tip of your longest finger) is about the same length as your face (from chin to eyebrow-ish). It varies from person to person, of course, but that's generally correct.

Well, you have a head and some hands, right? Sooo you can test that kind of thing for yourself! :3 But yeah, Water's right. Your hand will be about the same size as your face. And if you're still not able to control the size well, it's usually better to make the hands larger than usual, rather than smaller. (Unless you have a reason.) Even Michelangelo usually made hands larger than in reality.
PS, this sort of thing should go in the Q&A subforum. ^^ I'll move it there soon.
